Episode 13: Dokugumon Attacks

Evander, Jessica, Agumon, Terriermon, Ladybugmon, Leormon, and Pawnchessmon had been riding Garurumon in the forest for a while. Gaurumon was looking pretty tired. "Evander...I'm....tired...." Garurumon said in Puffs. Evander looked down at the wolf Digimon with a sympathetic expression on his face. He patted Garurumon on the head a couple of times. "It's ok. We can walk from here." Evander said. Evander, Jessica, Agumon, Leormon, Pawnchessmon, Terriermon, and Ladybugmon hopped down off of the dark blue and white blue wolf Digimon. Once everyone was off of him, Garurumon de-digivolved back to Gabumon.

The two and their Digimon began walking. They were surrounded by trees. It was the Native Forest after all. As they walked, they saw lots of plant based Digimon hopping around, playing, sleeping, or peaking around the corner when they spotted the two strange visitors and their Digimon partners. Palmons, Tanemons, Lalamons, Floramons, Mushroomons, and Woodmons were just some of the Digimon who populated this area. Jessica almost tripped on a rock. Evander's eyes widened as he saw Jessica falling forward. He reached out and grabbed the girl's hand. "I got ya." Evander said as he held her up by the arm. When Evander had grabbed her arm, Jessica looked him in the eyes and he blushed. His heart felt like it was full of butterflies again. There was that feeling again; the butterflies-in-the-stomach feeling? Could….could he really have feelings for this girl? He stared at Jessica for a few moments, holding her up by the arm. "Umm…you can pull me up now." Jessica said. Evander did so and let go of her. Jessica smiled, looked down at the ground, and then looked back into Evander's eyes. "Thanks." she said. Evander looked away to avoid eye contact with her. He rubbed the back of his head, still feeling that flustered and fluttery feeling in his stomach. "Oh, umm…no problem." He said.

Ladybugmon flew to the left and then flew to the right. He looked all around him. "Where da heck are we?" Ladybugmon asked. Evander looked around. "This is the Native Forest. But I can't get any more specific than that." Evander replied. Evander took out his D-Power to see if it had a map or something built in it. He pushed some buttons and, as it turns out, it did. A map of File Island popped up on his D-Power. " Well, from here, we can go directly to two places. We can go to Primary Village or Murkwood Bog." Evander said. Ladybugmon turned to look at Evander, still flying in mid-air. "Maybe we can go to Primary Village." Ladybugmon said. "That sounds good to me." Evander said.

Jessica fell over anime style. "Well I wish you woulda told me that before I set up Camp!" Jessica scolded. "Huh?" Evander turned around to see a Campfire. "I used to be a Boyscout and I'm pretty sure that Fire is going to singe something." Evan criticized. "Like what?'' Jessica asked looking upward. Evander looked past her to see a leaf that had caught fire. Evander was running around trying to put it out like flapping his blue cap over it. "Well he put the leaf and the camp fire out and moved the plate over a bit.

Agumon: Evander?

Evander: Yes Agumon?

Agumon: Never let Jessica start another campfire.

Evander: You got it.

"Good now where are we supposed to sleep with no Tent?" Agumon asked. "With our Sleeping bags. but we need to get some WOOD! so that we can start a proper CAMPFIRE!" Evander said so Jessica could here. "let's all go together so if some Dokugumon Attacked, or Pipismon or other kinds of Digimon that attack, we can fight them off." Agumon said, "Great Idea." Evander replied. Evander and Jessica found some firewood and were heading back. "Hey, this ought to be enough." Evander said. "oh sure, but we might need some more." Evander said. "Gee, ya think?" Agumon sarcastically said. Evander was holding one huge log. "EVANDER!!!!! WE NEED MORE WOOD!" Agumon said. "no need to shout." Evander said. Evander got more firewood but was having some trouble holding it. "Agumon could you Digivolve and help me carry this wood?" Evander asked. Agumon shook his head. He didn't think he ought to waste his energy digivolving for something trivial. "Nope, I've got to save my strength for if an enemy attacks." Agumon said. " I can't right now." Evander was struggling with the wood. "OK."

Jessica placed her wood there on the ground. "There." she said. Everyone placed their Wood in place also. "Pepper Breath!" Agumon lit the wood with his Pepper Breath Attack. "nice job Agumon." Evander said. "Thank you." Agumon smiled. Evander then grinned and gave his Agumon a thumbs up.

As they slept through the nite. Jessica woke up and was thirsty. "I Don't want to wake Evan up just cause I'm thirsty. besides and I have 3 partners." Jessica thought. She went over to wake PawnChessmon. "PawnChessmon...." she said. PawnChessmon rolled over to Jessica. "whaat?" he asked in a sleepy tone. "I'm thirsty let's go find a pond or something to drink from." Jessica whispered. "Oh...ok." he said, grabbing his sword and shield. "Let's Go." Well they were looking for a Pond and they kept noticing these Spiderwebs. "Hey if you look at them at a different angle they look like they're making a funny face." PawnChessmon said, tilting his head. Jessica tilted her head too. "Hey, you're right and that one looks like Elvis Presley." PawnChessmon was confused. "Who's that?" Chessmon asked. "Never mind." she replied.

They kept walking and walking and talking and walking. "Hey didn't we already see that big rock like, 5 Times already?" Jessica asked. "Yeah, an didn't we already see that Web 5 times already?" PawnCheesmon asked. Jessica looked at Chessmon. "PawnChessmon....all webs look alike." Jessica said. "I don't think so, I think something fishy is going on."

Evander woke up and looked over to Jessica's Bed. "OH SNAP WHERE DID SHE GO!? She could get hurt." Evander yeled. "Agumon....sorry." Evander said looking at the half asleep Agumon. "WHAT THE HECK DID YOU THINK YOU WERE DOING I WAS ASLEEP!!!!!!!!!!" Agumon yelled. "oops...." he said as he turned around to see 4 angry Digimon partners also drowzy. "WE ASLEEP OVER HERE!" they yelled anime style. "Guys, Jessie is missing." Evander said.

Jessica came to a Big web. "OH MY NEPTUNE!!?" Jessica said as she fainted. Evander was searching for her. "Are you sure that it is Imperative to find her? I mean she could have just gone to get a bite to eat." Terriermon said. "Of Course it is, I'm the leader of this group, and even though lately I have not been acting like one....Dog gonnit, if I won't be the most responsible one." Evander said. Ladybugmon shrugged, looking rather confused. "And who claimed you as leader?" Ladybugmon asked. Evander looked back at him and tapped on the goggles he was wearing on his head a couple of times. "Because I'm the Goggle Boy." Evander said. Then he turned around and face forward. "Besides that...I'm..worried about her. This place can be dangerous" Ladybugmon landed in Evander's arms. He looked up at him and smiled. "Don't worry Evander, we'll find her." Ladybugmon said tring to comfort Evander. "Thanks Pal." Evander said patting his frst digimon on the head.

Evander was searching for her. "Jessie! Jessie!" he called. "This is not good, what if something happened to her, I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I knew a Digimon did something to her. I hope she's OK. now I'm hungry, Darnit if I'm not Hungry during a crisis." Evander thought. "Hey Didn't we already pass that Elvis web 3 Times already?"" Evander thought. "Hey didn't we pass that Elvis web 3 times already?" Agumon asked. "Ahh! Don't read my mind!" he said.

Emily watched the boy and girl and their Digimon from up in a tree. "They were fools to split up from their friends. The Dokugumon in this forest shall take care of them.

Evander and his Digimon came across Jessica lying on the ground unconscious. "Jessica!" Evander cried out, worried. He ran over to the orange haired girl and shook her. "Hey, Jessica! Wake up! Wake up!" He said. Jessica came to. She sat up and rubbed her eyes. "Wha…what happened?" Jessica asked. Before Evander could say anything, thick spider threads came out of the trees and wrapped around the two children, binding their arms to the side. "What's going on here?!" Evander exclaimed. The two of them found themselves being hoisted up into the air. Something was pulling them. When Evander looked up, he saw that the threads had come from above, and the ones pulling on them were two large spiderlike Digimon called Dokugumon. Evander's eyes widened. "Dokugumon!" Evander exclaimed.

BATTLE NOW!

One of the Dokugumon said, "You came right into our nest, little ones." The other Dokugumon said, "Prepare to be devoured. You shall be our prey." Evander wriggled around, trying to break free from the spider-web, but it was no good. He couldn't break free. The partner Digimon watched this unfold from below. They were taken aback. "Oh no! I should have known! We're in the midst of Native Forest's Dokugumon nest!" Agumon exclaimed. Ladybugmon put his hands on his face which had a worried expression. Ladybugmon looked back and forth. "What….what are Dokugumon?" Ladybugmon asked. Agumon looked at Ladybugmon and answered, "They're arachnid Digimon who set up huge spider webs to trap their prey." Agumon replied.

Evander continued to wriggle more. "Agumon! Ladybugmon! Help!" Evander cried out. Jessica wriggled as well. "What he said! Help! I don't want to be spider food!" Jessica shouted.

Agumon and the other partner Digimon gave each other knowing nods. Then, Agumon shot a ball of fire out of his mouth at the thread that was wrapped around Evander and coming out of the Dokugumon's mouth. "Pepper Breath!" Agumon exclaimed. The fireball hit the thread and burned it up, causing it to break and drop Evander. "Blue Blaster!" Gabumon shouted before sending a small stream of blue flames out of his mouth. The stream of blue flames hit the thread that was holding up Jessica. It broke and Jessica fell to the ground. Both Evander and Jessica moaned in pain having fell from a good height, but at least they weren't spider food. The Dokugumon looked over at the Agumon and Gabumon. "You dare interrupt our meal!? You shall pay!" One of the two Dokugumon said. "Poison Web!" Shouted the other Dokugumon, shooting a spider web from its spinnerets. The Agumon and Gabumon tried to dodge it, but the web fell over both of them and trapped them. The second Dokugumon jumped off of the tree its legs were attached to and came down on top of Agumon and Gabumon to body slam them. Agumon and Gabumon shouted in pain as the large spider body slammed them from above.

The Dokugumon then jumped up into the air and body slammed them again, and then again, and then again! Evander, who was still tied up as parts of the silk were still restricting his arms to his sides, looked over to their Digimon with a worried look on his face. "Augie! Augie! Get up! You have to fight it! Burn the web with your Pepper Breath!" Evander shouted. Agumon had no chance to do that though. The Dokugumon didn't stop body slamming him long enough for him to stand up and shoot a fireball at the web as Evander had suggested. Terriermon and Ladybugmon ran to their aid. "Bunny Blast!" Terriermon shouted, firing lots of small fireballs out of his mouth at the Dokugumon. Dokugumon got hit with the attack and grunted. The attack didn't do a whole lot of damage, but it was obvious that it did at least some due to the vocal sounds the large spider Digimon was making. "Super Sonic!" Ladybugmon shouted before flapping his wings and sending out sharp cutting slices of condensed air waves. The Dokugumon got hit with this attack and grunted in pain as well. Though, again, the attack didn't do a whole lot.

Augie and Gabumon had taken advantage of this moment. While Ladybugmon and Terriermon were attacking him, they could burn the spider web he had created and break free. "Pepper Breath!" Agumon called out before shooting a fireball out of his mouth. The fireball caused the web to catch on fire and burn away. With Agumon and Gabumon free, they decided to run over to where their partners were. Evander and Jessica were still bound by the spider thread, as earlier, Agumon's attack had only severed the connection between the part of the spider threads acting as rope to tie them up and Dokugumon's mouth. Agumon bent down in front of Evander and reared his claw back. "Stay still, ok Evander?" Agumon said. Evander nodded and then squinted. "Claw Attack!" Agumon exclaimed, swiping his claw at the spider thread binding Evander. Agumon's claws cut clear through the thread and thus, he was completely free. Agumon then went over to Jessica and did the same thing. He slice the threads off of Jessica with his claw. Evander and Jessica stood up. They looked over to Agumon and said "Thank you." simultaneously.

Agumon and Gabumon then turned to the Dokugumon and began attacking again. "Pepper Breath! Pepper Breath! Pepper Breath! Pepper Breath!" Agumon shouted as he shot four consecutive fireballs at the opponent. "Blue Blaster! Blue Blaster! Blue Blaster! Blue Blaster!" Gabumon shouted as he fired four small streams of blue flames at the Dokugumon at once. The Dokugumon all got hit with the attacks and grunted in pain. "Poison Sting!" Dokugumon shouted, sending a barrage of small, venom coated needles at the Digimon. The Digimon (and their tamers) jumped off to the side to dodge it. "Poison Stingers! Poison Stingers! Poison Stingers! Poison Stingers!" Dokugumon shouted, repeatedly firing venom coated stingers out of his mouth. Agumon, Gabumon, and Terriermon kept jumping around in order to evade the attacks. Gabumon then looked over to Evander and Jessica with a serious look on his face. "Be careful of those needles! If you get hit, you'll be injected with its venom!" Gabumon exclaimed. Evander grabbed his shoulders, shuddered, and grimaced. He didn't like the sound of that. He had already endured one Digimon's venom the day before; Hornetmon's. He didn't want to go through it again. Besides, even if they knew how to get the antidote, they might not get it in time like they did the last time.

Evander reached back and touched a square box that was around his belt, usually covered by his blue shirt with yellow stripes. "We need to get rid of these guys before one of us ends up getting sick." Evander said. Evander took out a card that had a picture of the shields WarGreymon usually wore on his back. They were yellow shields with a crest on it. Evander scanned the card through his orange D-Power. "Digi-Modify! WarGreymon's Brave Shields Activate!" Evander called out. Agumon suddenly was carrying a large yellow shield like the one on the card. But Evander wasn't done, he reached into his pocket and took out another card. This one had a picture of a sword on it. The sword had DigiCode written on it. He scanned it through his Digivice and shouted, "Digi-Modify! Omni Blade activate!" Yes, the sword on the card was Omnimon's sword. After Evander had scanned it, the sword appeared in Agumon's arms. The plan was to use the sword for offense and the shield for defense. Evander then took out a third card and scanned it. "Digi-Modify! Speed Activate!" This card would cause Agumon to be able to run really, really fast. Jessica smiled at Evander. He had used a triple combo. Jessica reached into her pocket and brought out cards of her own. "Digi-Modify! WarGreymon's Brave Shields Activate! Digi-Modify! Omni Blade Activate! Digi-Modify! Speed Activate!" Jessica just used the same triple combo as Evander just used.

Evander looked over to Jessica and frowned. "Heeey. Don't copy me. Use your own strategies." Evander said. Jessica smirked. "Don't tell me what to do." She said.

The Dokugumon resumed their attack! "Poison Stingers! Poison Stingers! Poison Stingers! Poison Stingers!" The two Dokugumon shouted as they shot a barrage of venom coated stingers out of their mouths in the partner Digimons' direction. Agumon and Gabumon both held up their WarGreymon shields to block the attacks. It worked! The needles just bounced off of the shields, not doing any damage to Agumon or Gabumon at all. Terriermon, Pawnchessmon, and Ladybugmon took cover behind Agumon and Gabumon. When the needles stopped being fired at them, Agumon and Gabumon lowered their shields and then ran around the Dokugumon at lightning fast speed. "Catch us if you can!" Agumon taunted. "You said we were your meal, right? Well, I hope you like fast food!" Gabumon taunted. The Dokugumon were looking left and right trying to keep up with the two Rookie level Digimons movements, knowing that if they couldn't even keep up with their movements, there'd be no way they could hurt them or prevent themselves from being hurt. They hadn't dodged their attacks before, not because they were too slow, but because, as Rookies going up against Champions, they figured that the partner Digimon wouldn't be able to do much to them anyway. The Dokugumon kept looking around rapidly trying to catch the two reptilian Digimon. "Poison Cobweb!" One of the Dokugumon exclaimed before shooting a fully formed spider web out of its mouth at Agumon. Agumon, because of the speed boost, was able to get out of the way in time. "Too slow!" Agumon said.

Agumon then came up from the side and ran Dokugumon through with the Omni Blade. "Omni Blade!" The Dokugumon screamed as he dissolved into data particles. After dissolving into data particles, the Dokugumon transformed into a DigiEgg.

The other Dokugumon was freaked out. "No…no way! What's with this power? These cards have made these Rookies a match for us?" He said aloud. "That's correct!" came Gabumon's voice. Dokugumon turned around to see Gabumon for just a split second before he ran him through with his own Omni Blade just as Agumon had done to the other Dokugumon. "Omni Blade!" The second Dokugumon screamed as he dissolved into data particles. After he dissolved into data particles, he transformed into a DigiEgg.

Evander sighed. "What? Is that it? I thought those two would put up way more of a fight. How disappointing." Evander said. Jessica sighed too, but out of relief rather than disappointment. "I'm beginning to wonder if splitting from the group to look for Yukio was really a good idea after all." She said. Evander then looked to his Digimon and gave them two thumbs up. "But you guys were awesome! You beat those guys without even needing to digivolve!" Agumon and Gabumon smiled and jumped up and down, being pleased by the praise they were receiving.

Just then, the children and their Digimon heard a voice from behind them. "Just what did you do to my precious babies!?" They jerked to see another spiderlike Digimon. But this one was different from the Dokugumon. This one had a spiderlike body on the bottom, was red all over, and had a humanoid body on top. The humanoid top half had two large, white arms. She had long white hair on her head, and two large, red horns coming off the sides of her head. Evander and Jessica gasped. "It's Arukenimon!" Indeed, it was Arukenimon, and unlike the two Dokugumon the children had just defeated, this Digimon was no pushover. She was at the Ultimate level.

"We were just defending ourselves." Evander said. "Yeah, your 'babies' nearly killed us!" Jessica said. Arukenimon clenched her fists and growled. "You….you'll pay for hurting my babies!" This Arukenimon shouted. "Spider Thread!" Arukenimon shouted, making whips out of her spider thread (one in each hand) and then proceeding to strike Agumon and Gabumon over and over with them. Agumon and Gabumon blocked the whipping attacks with the WarGreymon shields they had been equipped with. "Spider-Thread! Spider Thread! Spider Thread!" Arukenimon shouted as she whipped over and over and over. Agumon and Gabumon continued to defend with their WarGreymon shields.

Eventually, they knew they couldn't just defend, they had to attack as well. Using their speed, they ran up to Arukenimon and attempted to slash her with the Omni Blades they had been equipped with. However, just as they were getting close, the modify card power up cards wore off! Their swords and shields disappeared, and they went back to moving at their normal speed. A look of fear came across Agumon and Gabumon's faces as they realized they were now open to an attack! "Acid Mist!" Arukenimon shouted as she sprayed a green acid from her mouth. Agumon and Gabumon got hit with the attack and cried out in pain. The two Digimon jumped back, looking hurt. "Augie! No!" Evander cried out. Augie the Agumon collapsed to one knee. He looked back at Evander and said, "This Digimon….she's an Ultimate. Her…attacks are….really strong." He said through his pain. Evander grit his teeth. He was thinking of what their next move might be. Should they try digivolving or should they try to use more modify card combos? Using modify cards certainly took less energy than digivolving.

"Evander, what should we do?" Jessica asked. Evander quickly looked at Jessica and then turned his attention back to Arukenimon. "I'm thinking. I'm thinking." Evander said calmly.

Evander reached into his pocket and brought out a card with a picture of a big bluish black hammer on it. He swiped it through his Digivice and shouted "Digi-Modify! Zudomon's Hammer activate!" Then he brought out another card and swiped it as well. "Digi-Modify! Power Activate!" The plan was to use the combo of the large hammer and the Attack power up to destroy Arukenimon in one hit. Agumon got a large hammer in his hand and then felt power coursing through him. "Agumon! Squash that bug!" Evander shouted. Agumon looked over at Evander and nodded. Then Agumon ran over to Arukenimon and swung the large hammer. Unfortunately, it didn't make contact! Arukenimon dodged it!

"Spider Thread!" Arukenimon shouted as she made more spider threads with her hands. This time, she used them to wrap Agumon up like a rope. Then she swung the spider thread holding Agumon and slammed him up against a tree!

Jessica reached into her pocket and brought a card out as well. This card had a picture of a drill on it. Evander looked over and saw Jessica holding the card. Something had just occurred to him. Evander put his hand over the card in Jessica's hand. "Jessie, wait." Evander said. Evander had remembered what Regen and Lizomon had said about strategy. He remembered their battle from before and Agumon had lost. "What is it, Evander?" Jessica asked.

Arukenimon turned around and saw Ladybugmon and Terriermon. "Super Sonic!" Ladybugmon shouted, sending out sharp, compressed waves of cutting air by flapping his wings rapidly. "Terrier Tornado!" Terriermon shouted, spinning around rapidly and creating a vortex of wind which he then sent at Arukenimon. Arukenimon knocked the attacks away, not even being phased by them. "Acid Mist!" Arukenimon shouted, sending a green acid out of her mouth. Ladybugmon and Terriermon got hit with the attack and screamed in pain! The attack did a lot of damage.

"We need to digivolve." Evander said, answering Jessica. Jessica nodded. "Ok." Then they both held out their digivices.

"Ladybugmon Digivolve to....Boxerincectmon!"

"Terriermon Digivolve to....Gargomon!"

"Agumon digivolve to….Greymon!"

Evander's Digimon now stood standing in their champion forms, ready to fight. Jessica put her digivice down. Evander looked confused. Why wasn't she digivolving her Digimon? As if knowing what he was thinking, Jessica decided to answer him. "Gabumon might not be at full strength yet. Remember how worn out he was carrying us to this forest as passengers?" Jessica asked. Evander frowned, but nodded his head. "Yeah. You're right. Besides. I think my Digimon can handle her without much of a hitch." Evander said. Jessica was employing some good thinking. She could always try to digivolve her Digimon if BoxerInsectmon, Gargomon, and Greymon got pushed into a corner, but it BoxerInsectmon, Gargomon, and Greymon could handle it, then Jessica's Digimon would have enough strength to help them should they get attacked again before Evander's Digimon could regain strength. This is exactly what was going through Jessica's mind as she lowered her digivice and chose not to digivolve her Digimon.

"Nova Blast!" Greymon shouted as he shot a huge ball of fire out of his mouth.

"Sonic Boom!" BoxerInsectmon shouted as he flapped his wings and sent powerful, sharp, compressed slices of air out of his wings.

"Gargo Pellets!" Gargomon shouted, firing the gatling guns on his arms and shooting a plethora of bullets at Arukenimon.

Arukenimon jumped around dodging all of their attacks. "Predation Spider!" Arukenimon shouted before causing a whole horde of Dokugumon to come crawling out of holes that had opened up on her stomach. Evander and Jessica looked grossed out. "Is she….freaking giving birth in the middle of battle!?" Evander exclaimed. "It…looks that way!" Jessica replied. Arukenimon was amused at the children being grossed out over her attack. "This attack of mine is called Predation Spider. With it, I can spawn endless amounts of Dokugumon to do my bidding for me! I can make a whole army if I want to! And you will pay for destroying their older siblings!" Arukenimon said. Greymon slammed Arukenimon with his tail and sent her flying into a tree. Repeating the words Lizomon had told him earlier, he said "First rule on the battlefield: Never get distracted."

Arukenimon picked herself up and brushed herself off. She turned to the Greymon and glared at him. Greymon had fire forming in his mouth. He was about to unleash another Nova Blast, but then he got tackled by a horde of Dokugumon. Gargomon ran up to each of the Dokugumon and began pummeling them with his gatling guns. "Bunny Pummel! Bunny Pummel! Bunny Pummel! Bunny Pummel!" Gargomon shouted as he hit the Dokugumon. The Dokugumon grunted as they took the hits. Then they turned towards Gargomon and cried out "Poison Stingers!"

The venom coated stingers were headed towards Gargomon! Forunately, all of the stingers were deflected by Gargomon's ally; BoxerInsectmon. He deflected them with his "Sonic Boom!" attack. Gargomon looked over to BoxerInsectmon relieved. "Thanks, BoxerInsectmon." He said. "No problem." BoxerInsectmon replied.

Gargomon then pointed his gatling guns at the Dokugumon and began firing his guns at them. "Gargo Pellets!" Two of the nearly dozen Dokugumon got hit with the attack. They cried out in pain, dissolved into data particles, and then turned into DigiEggs. Gargomon then began turning while firing his guns. "Gargo Pellets! Gargo Pellets!" Gargomon shouted. His guns hit more and more Dokugumon, damaging some, and deleting others.

Greymon had gotten back up and was headed towards Arukenimon. "Great Horns Attack!" Greymon shouted as he ran with his head bowed, intending to impale her with his horns. Arukenimon jumped off to the side. "Missed me, child killer!" Arukenimon said. Greymon then turned his head to the right, the direction where Arukenimon dodged. Firing another huge ball of fire from his mouth, he shouted, "Nova Blast!" But again, Arukenimon dodged it. Arukenimon smirked. "You have a lot of power, but not a lot of speed. Do you think you can defeat me like this, child killer?" Arukenimon asked.

"First, stop calling us child killers. Your Dokugumon offspring tried to kill my partner. Secondly, you fell right for my trap." Greymon said. Arukenimon suddenly felt a sharp pain through the bottom of her spider legs. She looked down and saw that Gabumon, Leormon, and Pawnchessmon had all pinned her to the ground with different pointy weapons. Terriermon was using a lance that looked like Gallantmon's lance to pin down one of Arukenimon's right legs. Gabumon had an Omni Blade pinned to one of Arukenimon's left legs. Leormon was wielding a blade with his mouth that looked like a thick, golden sword. Arukenimon tried to move, but the blades had impaled her legs and pegged her to the ground like a tent.

Greymon smirked. "Nova Blast!" Greymon shouted, sending a huge ball of fire out at Arukenimon. The Rookie level Digimon let go of the weapon and jumped off to the side in order to avoid getting hit by Greymon's attack. Arukenimon got hit with the attack directly. She screamed in pain as she took damage. However, it wasn't enough to delete her, so Greymon kept up the attack, "Nova Blast! Nova Blast! Nova Blast! Nova Blast!" He shot 4 large fireballs out of hit mouth. Arukenimon got hit with all of them, screamed in pain and dissolved into data particles before forming into a DigiEgg.

Arukenimon was gone. Evander and Jessica cheered in victory. However, it wasn't over yet. There were still about 5 Dokugumon to deal with.

"Nova Blast!" Greymon shouted as he shot a huge ball of fire out of his mouth.

"Sonic Boom!" BoxerInsectmon shouted as he flapped his wings and sent powerful, sharp, compressed slices of air out of his wings.

"Gargo Pellets!" Gargomon shouted, firing the gatling guns on his arms and shooting a plethora of bullets at Dokugumon.

They destroyed some more Dokugumon. The other Dokugumon looked fearful. "Ok guys, these Digimon seem pretty tough! They even turned mother into a DigiEgg!" One of the Dokugumon said. "I think we should get out of here!" Another Dokugumon said. "Yeah, you're right!" Another Dokugumon said. The rest of the Dokugumon (which numbered about 3 in total) fled.

BATTLE OVER!

BoxerInsectmon, Gargomon, and Greymon de-digivolved back to their Rookie forms. They ran into Evanders arms and he embraced all three of them at once. "You guys were awesome! We did it! Our losing streak is over!" Evander said happily. Agumon smiled and giggled with his eyes closed while he was in Evander's arms. "Yeah! And we didn't need any help from Regen and Lizomon!" Agumon said. Evander then stopped hugging them, stood up and looked over to Jessica. "That thing where you pinned Arukenimon down. Did you plan that from the start? Is that you kept your Digimon from Digivolving?" Evander asked. Jessica shook her head. "No. I came up with it at the last second. While no one was looking I called my partners over and told them the plan. They agreed, and…well…it all worked out." Jessica said happily. Evander smiled. "Good job, Jessie." Evander said, giving her a thumbs up and a wink. Jessica blushed. "Well, let's go back to our Campsite." Evander said. They went back to the Campsite and went back to sleep.

In the Morning....

Evander woke up. "This is our 3rd Day in the Digital World. I'm going to go wash my face off." Evander thought.

It looked to be around 7:00 in the Morning. "It's so Peaceful here. well...almost. It's like a Natural Preserve." Evander thought. He got two handfuls of water and splashed it on his face. "Well, let's go. " Evan said. 2 Hours later he woke up Jessica and their Digimon. Then, they headed toward Dragon Eye Lake.
