Ladybugmon had asked Regen what the word "stressed" meant. Regen looked over to the little insect Digimon. He was flying in mid-air a couple of feet off to the right side of Regen. "Weeelll...how to say that..." Regan started. "Stressed means when someone is nervous because of a lot of pressure, because of a lot of problems that happened recently, or a bit lately, and that has been rather troublesome to that said person. But I ain't an expert in that."
Evan looks at Regen. "That's a good explanation. I couldn't have said it better myself." Evan said.
"More or less." Krasus interrupted. "The Old Gods cannot do much where they are. But perhaps they may have found another way to make some little acts outside of their prison. Although as much as their powers are probably much beyond our own, they can be limited if they try to strike out of their prison. So they can be limited, but they will surely attempt to use others to destroy the Digital World." Krasus said.
Jijimon thinks for a bit. "Well, I guess that explains everything. Even if their powers are limited, it could explain how Devimon came back and became even stronger than before. If they could do that, who says they couldn't do that with every villainous Digimon that has ever been defeated and banished?"
Evander looked bored. "So, does anyone want to do something like play a game?" Evander asked. Jessica looked at Evan kind of a glare type thing. "The Digital World is in trouble and all you can think about is your boredom? You are such a child." Jessica complained. She still felt a little irritated from earlier when Evander had tried to attack Krasus for saying he was stronger than Evander was. Well, actually, Evander had done lots of bullheaded and impatient things that day. It was late into the night, and Jessica was worried that Evander might get himself hurt eventually. Evander scoffed and said, "Well yeah, until my birthday when I Turn 13 then I'll be an adolescent. " Evander said before sticking out his tongue at her. Jessica scowled and growled. "That's not what I meant, I mean I'm worried. I mean, I've been watching Dgimon for as long as you have and I am experiencing battles that are extreme. I mean, if Devimon was that Strong when HE came back, imagine how it must have been for Davis and E.t.c when Diaboromon came back and Armegeedemon too." Jessica said. Evan looked at Ladybugmon. "OK, but I think that some fun will relax us so MENTALLY we will be ready for the next fight." Evander then turned his head to his Agumon. "Don't you agree, Agumon?" Evander asked looking at Agumon. Agumon looked toward Evan and smiled. "Yes Evan." Agumon replied with a happy face.
"Well, let's go!" Evander said. Evander waved his arm toward the door. "Regen My digivic has a walky talky accessory on it. OK? And Jessica has one so talk on it because only D-Powers can work." Evander said. Evander began to walk up the stairs, but then paused. "Also, if Jijimon and the rest of them need us before I get back tell them where I've gone. I'm just going to go Gallivant."
Jessica nodded. "OK I'll fill in. But, I'll tell you if I think we are going to be needed." She said.
Evander and his Digimon then walked up the stairs into Jijimon's living room. Then they went to the front door, opened the front door, and started walking outside.
Jijimon's house was in File City, although it was more like a town than a city given its size. The brown haired goggle headed boy walked down the streets with his arms folded behind his head as streetlights lit up the dark town. Digimon of all kinds were walking around, doing business, talking. Evander looked over to Ladybugmon who was keeping up with him by flying next to his shoulder. "Ladybugmon would you like some toys to play with?" He asked. Ladybugmon had a confused expression on his face. "Toys?" He responded. "You know, play things." Evander replied. Ladybugmon smiled and nodded. "Oh! Ok! I love to play!" Ladybugmon said.
Evander looked around but he could not find a Toy shop. Instead he saw an Item Shop and decided to go in it. Evander and his Digimon looked around at the various items. Agumon picked up a round item and held it up to Evander's face. "Hey, look. A compass." Agumon said. "A compass would be a useful tool for us if we get lost because File City is kind of big." Evander said. "That may be useful, indeed.." Ladybugmon said. Evander and his Digimon took the compass and walked up to the register. "Hello?" Evander said.
Back at Jijimon's house, Mario sighs and sits down. "I wish that they had something to do while we waited."
Flora sighs. "You're as bad as that kid."
Jessica looked at Mario. "Now I'm Kind of Bored but I geuse it could be worse." Jessica said.
At the Shop...
An Agumon appears at the counter. "How may I help you?" He asked. Evander put the compass on the table. "I'd like to buy this compass." Evander said.
The clerk Agumon looks at the Compass. "Let's see...with expenses, fine tuning, and all sorts of unnecessary yet necessary extras along with tax, that will be 400,000 bits."
Evander almost fell over after he heard the price. "GOOD GRIEF!!!!! All of my Video Game Consoles combined didn't cost that much!" Evander said shocked. "With a price like that, you could make a fortune off of selling only one item!" Terriermon joked.
The Agumon behind the counter laughs. "Relax, relax! I joked! It's not really that much! Dropping all the expenses and getting right down to the original price with tax, it only costs 100 bits." Evander and his Digimon took a sigh of relief. This price was much more affordable. Evander took out his wallet and handed the bits (or DigiDollars as they were also called) to the clerk Agumon.
Back at Jijimons house, Lizomon let out a yawn. "Well, it's getting a little boring." Lizomon said "And I thought you newbies would have asked for anymore informations."
Regan sighed. He knew that Lizomon was searching for more trouble…
Mario shrugs. "Nah, not really. I either have complicated questions or will expect complicated answers from them."
Flora leans back and closes her eyes.. "I don't ask questions."
Their Digimon look from them to each other and sigh.
Gatomon decides to have a little fun. She walks over to one side of the room and then signals to the other Digimon to come over. The Digimon look at Gatomon and then to each other before walking over.
Gatomon then tries to silently call Regan, Kari, and Jessica's Digimon to come over to her.

Jijimon sighs. "You're right, Krasus." Jijimon gets up and paces a bit. After a bit, he turns to Gennai. "Gennai, how long do you think it would take to assemble an army of our best?"
Gennai stands. "Jijimon, with the resources we got and the speed of our messaging today, the fastest it would take would be about 30 days."
Jijimon sighs. "By then, it might be too late."
"I don't know," Mitsuo speaks. "With the arrival of new and old Digidestined, we might have a chance. Them alone, probably not, but they could probably hold their own against the super-powered Digimon until we could get the army disagreeembled. In the meantime, while the Digidestined are fighting, I could have my team run some new technology and create some new programs that may be able to be used to help, such as power boosters and special weapons."
Jijimon shrugs. "Well, we might not have much of a choice in that matter. Mitsuo, go ahead and proceed with that. Gennai, gather the army. Yukio, would you mind helping me with the Digidestined? The new ones don't have much experience in the field, and while they can get to Rookie, they still won't stand a chance alone."
Yukio nods. "I'll be happy to help."
Jijimon nods. "Very well. Krasus, do you have anything else to say before we adjourn?"
Back in File City, Evander and his Digimon walked out of the Item Shop. Evander looks at Ladybugmon. "Hey want to go run and play?" Evander asked. "OH OK. Let's GO!" Ladybugmon yelled happily. Ladybugmon and Evander and the rest of the Digimon ran out of the shop with the paid for compass. "I can fly faster than you can run, Evander!" Ladybugmon bragged as he flew and Evander ran. Evander looked over to Ladybugmon and smiled. "Oh boy! You sure are fast, bugsy." Evan said. Ladybugmon slowed down to be neck in neck with Evander. "Who?" Ladybugmon asked. "Bugsy is going to be your nickname." Evander Said. Ladybugmon's face went dour. Evander grimaced. "Don't like that one, huh?" He said, then he went from looking at Ladybugmon to looking back in front of him. "Well, you're the only one of your kind, so you probably don't need a nickname anyway." Evander said. "Oh OK." Ladybugmon said. Ladybugmon sped up so he would touch the pole first and win.
Ladybugmon span around and gave a victory sign with two of his fingers. He had a huge grin on his face. "YAY! I won!" Ladybugmon cheered before flying towards Evander and landing in his arms. Evander chuckled. "Yes, you did. Good job, buddy." Evander said.
Evander pulls out some bottled water from a nearby vending machine. "Whew, all that running sure worked up a thirst." Evander said. Terriermon sat on Evander's shoulder while Agumon stood behind him while he got the bottled water out of the vending machine. He got one bottle of water for each of them.

Back at Jijimon's house, Leormon, Gabumon and Chessmon walked over to Flora's Gatomon after seeing her gesture to them. "Yes, what is it?" PawnChessmon asked.
Kari's Gatomon was the only one who came up to the other Digimon. Lizomon remained in his corner, apparently sleeping again.
But for those who knew the dragon digimon well...then they knew he wasn't exactly sleeping...
And he could still hear very well.
"Don't worry about Lizomon. So, what exactly you want to do?" Kari's Gatomon whispered to the other Digimon.
In the meeting room, the council was just about to wrap up. Krasus said, "I have nothing else to add, save for the obvious fact that I too will reform up some Digimon to assist the Digidestineds. Perhaps I may recreate new Digimon from the remaining soul fragments of the former Guardians. And if anyone catches nothing of any black dragon having one inch of presence or manipulation on this world, I must be immediately warned so that I can contact my kind who will come to us to deal with the threat. But I think I could help with any other task if needed. If you need my help for any task of importance, then you know how to contact me."
It was true. He had been given a special red crystal to each critical member of the council. Using it, they could contact Krasus directly as he could do the same as well.
Little was the truth that those crystals were actually created from scales originally belonging to Korialstrasz himself, Krasus' true self.
Evander was laying down on the grass looking up into the sky. They were just on the outskirts of File City. There wasn't much grass inside the city, but there was when you exited. "I can't believe that we have gone this long without a battle, I finally get to have a little bonding time with my Digimon....It's NICE." Evander thought. Evander then looked at Ladybugmon. "We sure have been here for a short time but it seems like we have been here longer you know?" Evander said. Ladybugmon replied with a smile. "I know what you mean."
Terriermon and Agumon laid down on the grass with Evander. "You know, Evander? I hope that we'll be able to see your world too someday." Terriermon said. Evander looked over to Terriermon and chuckled "I don't know how my mom will react but my bed is comfy." Evander said. Terriermon sat up and looked around. "Well what do you want to do now?" Terriermon asked. Evander put his finger up to his lip and looked down, furrowing his eyebrows. "Hmm....I don't know." Evander said. Then Evander put his finger down, unfurrowed his eyebrows and stood up. "We could call the others and ask them if they want to play too." Terriermon said, looking up the goggleheaded boy. Evander looked down at Terriermon and replied, "That's a good idea." Evander said.
Standing on the roof of one of the buildings was a cloaked figure. The figure was noticeably feminine. Blonde hair could barely be seen from underneath her hood which was shielding most of her face. The girl smirked and began chuckling a little. She was watching and Evander and his Digimon the whole time they played together. "This boy is nothing but an immature child. The Digital World council has summoned him and other children from different parts of the universe, and here he is having fun like he's at summer camp. Perhaps I needn't worry about my conquest of this world being foiled." The blonde cloaked girl said. A Lopmon then appeared from behind her. She climbed up a ladder that lead from the ground to the roof, stopping along many apartment windows along the way. The cloaked girl was standing on the roof of an apartment building where several resident Digimon lived. The Lopmon had a big back of rocks in her hand. They appeared to be nothing but ordinary rocks. "Emily, I've gathered the rocks as you requested." Lopmon said. The blonde cloaked girl turned around, and took out a whip from underneath her cloak. She whipped the little bunny Digimon twice with it. "How many times have I told you not to call me that!? I am your queen! You shall address me as your majesty!" She scolded, trying not to raise her voice too much as to draw attention to themselves. The little Lopmon rubbed the sore places on her head where the girl had struck her. "I-I'm sorry, your majesty." She said.
Evander's mind was filled with worries and self doubt as he stood on the grass on the outskirts of File City. "I really want to fight a Digimon that's at our level for once. Not right now, but when we do, I just don't want to be pushed aside. They pushed us aside with Devimon and with Ragnorack. I just want to feel needed." Evander thought. Ladybugmon looked at Evander. "I wonder what he's thinking about." Ladybugmon thought. Evander turned around and faced the direction of File City. "Aww man. We went shopping and we ran around and played, but what are we going to do now?" Evander asked. "We could go see if what we could do in Native Forest." Terriermon Said. "That's a good Idea." Evander said. "Well of course it is, it's my Idea." Terriermon said.
They walked into Native Forest. "Do you think that this is really a good Idea? I mean that there could be Evil Digimon." Agumon asked. "Well we'll just thrash them." Evan said. Agumon looked undecided. "OK, but If we do I want to call Regen." Agumon said. Ladybugmon got kind of perturbed. "No, he'll push us away again." Ladybugmon fussed. Agumon waved his hands and backed away. "OK! OK!" Evander also got perturbed. "I think that we should go solo. For good." Evander said. "No Evander, we need to be smart. You saw the trouble we got into. We work together as a team." Agumon said. Evander was silent for a moment, not looking back at the little orange Digimon. Then, Evander decided to speak. "I meant until we get stronger." Agumon was still unsure. Evander started thinking. "Well...maybe I should just look for my crest and leave it at that. If I find my crest then I can still be with the team because even if it takes a while to activate I'll still have that feeling that It will happen soon." Evan mutterd. Evander started looking in the bushes. "I wonder what trait is my best trait." Evander asked.
Evander then turned around and started walking back to File City. "Forget this solo stuff. I'm tired." Evander said. It was true. He was exhausted. Agumon, Terriermon, and Ladybugmon turned around and followed him. They were all exhausted, even though none of them would admit it. Evander had an incredible amount of stamina, but even he had his limits. It was time to head back. Maybe he and his Digimon would sleep at Jijimon's house for the night.
The blonde, cloaked woman - Emily, as the Lopmon had called her - Turned as she watched the goggle headed boy and his Digimon head back to Jijimon's house.
Back at Jijimon's house, Flora's Gatomon smiles. "Wanna hear a secret?" She asked. "Well, I don't really think I mind about it. Go on." Kari's Gatomon answered a little more silently.
Gatomon looks back and forth a bit to make sure Flora wasn't looking or paying attention and then leans forward, whispering silently, "Flora has a crush on Mario."
Leormon got to cackling. "oops....well Evander has a crush on Jessica." Leormon said before Gabumon shook his head. "oops I meant Jessica to Evander. " Leormon said.
"Well, I don't really think I need to talk about Regan and Kari, as 'lovebirds' like Lizomon would say." Kari's Gatomon whispered.
Flora's Gatomon recoils in shock and falls over. She lies there stunned for a second before darting upright. "DON'T DO THAT!" She then covers her mouth and looks at Flora. She seemed to have heard something, but she was still just sitting there. Gatomon sighs in relief and looks at Jessica. "Be careful, will ya? Flora's gonna kick our butts if she found out that I was revealing her secret!"
"I think she wouldn't want to admit it in fact." Lizomon suddenly said...from behind Flora's Gatomon.
"Who knows if Tk and Kari may have ended up together...
But it ain't gonna happen...
Not anymore..." Lizomon thought. "There can't be any chances of changes."
He looked at Kari and Regan. Regan was half-asleep while Kari was partly looking at him with a partly sweet and loving smile.
"Besides...these two are already a nice couple. There's no reason to even think about if it may have happened or not..."Lizomon finished his train of thoughts.
Gatomon falls forward in shock again. "Okay, seriously, stop doing that. You all are going to give me a heart attack." She sighs and picks herself up.

Jijimon nods. "Do so if you must." He then turns to the rest of the council. "Well, with that, meeting adjourned. Yukio, the children are in the hall near the entrance antechamber from my house. Feel free to meet them if you wish to."
Yukio nods and walks out as the rest of the members begin to file out.

A man walks up to the children and the Digimon. He smiles. "Are you all the Digidestined?"
