Harmonymon looked Helamon in the eyes. Helamon was consumed by fear. Her eyes widened in horror and she began backing away from Harmonymon. At that moment, Helamon knew that she was looking directly into the eyes of her executioner. Fear consumed her. She thought she might faint from the horror. Harmonymon lifted her sword high up into the air. The septillions upon septillion beams of light refocused to the sword and energized it. "Strike Of A Septillion Hopes!" Harmonymon shouted before bringing her sword down and causing an energy beam of white and golden yellow light to be fired from her sword in Helamon's direction, one so fast that she couldn't possibly dodge! It moved at the speed of light! "NO! NOOO!!!!!!!!!" Helamon screamed at the top of her lungs. Helamon was cut clear in half by Harmonymon's attack. The two halves of this black witch's body fell opposite of one another for a few seconds before dispersing into digital particles and reforming as a single DigiEgg. A single DigiEgg? Yes, only one, for this DigiEgg is the DigiEgg of SorcererSuprememon.
The other DigiEgg was sent to an old dog whose leash was now broken. In universe 616, in the Dark Area, Warlockmon's data traveled to Anubismon. Anubismon looked at the DigiCore he held in his hand. He knew this was the DigiCore of Warlockmon "No more resurrections for you." Anubismon said. Anubismon squeezed the DigiCore in his hand and completely destroyed it. Now, Warlockmon was gone for good and wouldn't even be reborn as a DigiEgg.
Everyone around the multiverse cheered wildly. The sound of applause and cheering could be heard coming out of all the tears in the spacial fabric of the universes. Harmonymon sheathed her sword, bowed her head, and closed her eyes with a peaceful smile on her face. "It's over." She said before opening her eyes, turning around to look at her partners, and saying, "It's finally over." Taylor was not just giggling, she was full blown laughing; laughing out of joy. So were Martin and Emmett for example. Drusilla smiled, closed her eyes, opened her umbrella and twirled it around. "That's so, so cool." She said calmly. She then couldn't contain herself any longer. She then started laughing out of joy herself. Harmonymon's previously radiating body went back to normal. The digivice light beams had stopped shining in her direction, and she had used up all the power that they had given her.
But then, their celebration turned to one of concern. Taylor was the first to notice it. She looked around and saw that the tears of the spacial fabrics weren't getting any better. They continued to decay away. "If Helamon is gone…why aren't the universes going back to normal?" Taylor wondered aloud. Emmett looked at Drusilla. Drusilla shrugged, wondering what he was looking at her for. Harmonymon flew over to one of the universes with a concerned look on her face. "This is terrible. If we don't do something soon, all of reality will collapse. The multiverse will return back into the nothingness from which it came." Harmonymon said. Harmonymon reached out and touched the edge of one of the universes. When she did, her body glowed and the energy from it started to go into the bubble universe. Harmonymon's concerned face turned to one of surprise as the universe's spacial rip began to repair, seemingly by itself. Harmonymon took her hand off for a moment and when she did, the decay of the spacial fabric started again. Harmonymon put her hand back on the universe's surface and, like last time, the spacial fabric started to heal. "Am I….doing this?" Harmonymon wondered aloud. Harmonymon kept her hand on the bubble universe until its spacial tear was completely healed. Once the spacial fabric was completely healed, Harmonymon thought it might be ok to remove her hand. She did, and she was right.
Taylor and the other four children looked in awe at what just happened. "Am I seeing things or did Harmonymon just fix a dying universe?" Haruka asked. Snakemon, who was in her arms, replied, "If you are, I'm seeing things too." A moment later, they heard the sound of a familiar barking. It was a Kommondomon. The Kommondomon stopped right where the children and Harmonymon were floating. The door of the Kommondomon opened to reveal Mirei Mikagura, the founder of World For Us All. "Mirei? What are you doing here?" Taylor asked. "Also, where were you? Why weren't you fighting with us in Witchelny?" Martin asked. "We had to face like, a gajillion Warlockmon clones!" Drusilla added. Mirei pushed up on her glasses and giggled slightly. "I'm sorry, but I had an errand to run." Mirei said, being purposefully ambiguous. Then her teasing and playful demeanor turned serious. "Let's rendezvous with the Council Of Wizards in Boarwarts. There's something we need to discuss."
So, all five children, Harmonymon, and Snakemon went back to Witchelny, specifically, the Witchelny which was a pocket dimension of the Digital World that was linked with Taylor's and Evander's universe.
There they sat in the council room. It was quiet. Allicomon, Magicianmon, Wandamon, WhiteWitchmon, MedievalGallantmon, and Hexeblaumon all hung their heads with their eyes closed. They were paying respect to their fallen queen, who now appeared before them as a DigiEgg in the middle of the table. Aki walked over and picked the DigiEgg up. The aging woman could be seen with tears streaming down her cheeks. She carried the DigiEgg over to the golden chair where SorcererSuprememon normally sat and gently placed it across the golden yellow fabric that was in between the solid gold frame. Aki reached into her pocket and brought out her archaic looking Digivice. Her tears streamed down her cheeks and fell onto the screen of the digivice. "SorcererSuprememon…my friend…my partner." She said softly. Everyone in the room knew that "Digimon never really die, their data just gets reconfigured". However, the most common result of such reconfiguration was a loss of all memory. SorcererSuprememon would hatch from that DigiEgg in her Baby form at some point in the future, but she would likely have forgotten all of the adventures she and Aki shared together. They would have to build their friendship from scratch. In a way, since a Digimon's memories were lost, it's almost like they did really die. Digimon who die become DigiEggs and are reborn, but as Kari Takeishi once remarked, "They sometimes come back singing a different tune". For what really is a person divorced from their memories, their personality, and all their quirks?
T.K, Kari, Davis, Ken, Yolei, Cody, Takato, Henry, Rika, Haruhi, Samantha, Ryo, Evander, Jessica, Mario, Flora, Zai, Emily, Taylor, Drusilla, Emmett, and Martin and all their partner Digimon all bowed their heads with their eyes closed for the moment of silence. Councilwoman Chlorismon was also outside bowing her head.
They could all be accommodated in the council room, since one of the walls had been torn down when the ground had started breaking apart earlier due to Helamon's destructive nature. Many of them were standing outside looking inside the gaping hole in the building while others were inside, under the roof.
When the moment of silence was over, everyone lifted their heads and opened their eyes. Mirei Mikagura then cleared her voice and began to speak; "Digidestined of many worlds, Council Of Wizards, it gives me great pleasure to say that Warlockmon has been defeated once and for all. Anubismon contacted me when I met him inside All For One World's base. He told me that if The Elemental Four should succeed in killing Warlockmon, he would neither return Warlockmon to a DigiEgg nor imprison him in the Dark Area. Instead, he would destroy his DigiCore, permanently deleting him. However, it is with great sadness that Warlockmon's death coincided with SorcererSuprememon's given the jogress. I have two things I wish to discuss with my organization and with the Council of Wizards, but first things first." When Mirei stopped speaking, she gestured to the door at the southside of the wall. The door opened and a familiar looking face walked in. It was Jeri Matsuki! Mirei smiled. She looked over to Takato and asked, "Takato, aren't you going to give your wife a hug or a kiss? She's been imprisoned for a long time, you know." Takato's eyes widened. He looked over to Mirei as if wanting confirmation that she was saying what he thought she was saying. Merei nodded with a smile and said, "Yes sir. This is YOUR Jeri." Takato ran to her and embraced her, and began showering her with lots of rapid kisses. "Jeri! Oh, Jeri! I was so worried about you! When I found out that All For One World had kidnapped you and replaced you with one of your multiversal counterparts, I was beside myself!" Takato said happily before continuing to shower his wife with affection. "I'm glad to be back, Takato." She said.
Takato and Jeri walked back over to the formation of multiversal Digidestined and tamers. Mirei resumed speaking, but Takato and Jeri held hands the whole time. "So with that said-" Mirei began. However, she was cut off by a gruff masculine voice. "Sorry, I'm late." Everyone turned to see a draconic humanoid standing in the doorway. "Wernicus!" Mario said. Indeed, it was Wernicus. Wernicus walked over and stood beside Merei. Mirei looked over at Wernicus with an annoyed look on her face. "Where the heck were you?" She asked in an annoyed tone of voice. Wernicus smiled nervously and sweat dropped while he scratched the side of his head. "I uh…had too much Mexican food. I was in the bathroom for the past two hours." He said. Everyone in the room sweat dropped. Mirei turned her attention back to her audience and cleared her throat.
"Anyway, first, the matter of who shall succeed SorcererSuprememon as queen. Last time, contrary to the legend, SorcererSuprememon did not die when she defeated Warlockmon back in the 1980s, she merely de-digivolved to her Rookie stage. She could still be queen as her human partner, Aki, could warp digivolve her whenever she needed to carry out her duties via this world's very first digivice. But now, she has perished for real. The probability of her hatching with all her memories in tact is very low. Not impossible, but improbable. You must all vote for a replacement queen or king as soon as possible." Mirei said.
Wandamon raised her hand with a big grin on her face. "I vote for meeeeeee!" She said before turning around and looking at Evander, "Human hunk? Don't you agree that I'd make a great sorcerer supreme?" Evander sweatdropped. Jessica's eyes burned with fire and a look that could kill. "I uhh….don't know?" Evander replied. He replied honestly. He didn't know what kind of magical skills she possessed. Didn't you have to be like, the best of the best at using magic to be Sorcerer Supreme? Allicomon poked Wandamon on the shoulder. "We'll all discuss this later. Let's hear the second thing Miss Mikagura wishes to discuss with us." Allicomon said. Mirei continued; "The second is the issue regarding the decaying of the fabric of the universes. We don't know how many universes are affected. Maybe a hundred, a thousand, a trillion, or maybe all of them are. But…before I founded World For Us All, when the King Drasils were still in the process of creating Harmonymon, one of them told me that Harmonymon was designed with the ability to mend spacial fabrics should they ever be damaged. They knew that Morty Shin would try to destroy the multiverse, and they planned for that should he make even a tiny bit of progress in that goal."
Taylor felt her heart sank. Trepidatiously, Taylor took one step forward and asked, "So….what are you saying?" Taylor had inferred the answer, and she didn't want to hear it. Mirei hung her head. She didn't want to say the answer anymore than Taylor wanted to hear it. Wernicus hung his head and placed his hands on the table, leaning on it. "She means….you four children….may have to say goodbye to your partners." Wernicus said. Martin, Drusilla, and Emmett gasped. "G-g-goodbye?!" Emmett exclaimed. "Why? What are you talking about?" Drusilla asked.
"Harmonymon will have to travel throughout the multiverse fixing whatever spacial rends she comes across. This is going to take a lot of time. There's a possibility you'll see her again some day, but I make no promises. Again, there could be a septillion universes affected by Helamon's destructive nature. If that's the case, you'll all die of old age before she finishes." Mirei explained.
Taylor reached into her pocket and took out her D-Eco. She held it out towards Mirei. Taylor was trying to hold back her emotions. She didn't want to cry in front of everyone. "But we're Harmonymon's partners. Every Digimon Researcher knows that digivice induced Digivolutions aren't permanent! If it's going to take as long as you say to repair the worlds, then we'll need to go with them to help them digivolve when their energy runs out!" Taylor said, sounding a bit angry and accusatory. Izzy then spoke up, "Actually, I've been doing a secret scan of Harmonymon's data during this meeting. And based on my findings, I don't think Harmonymon ever will de-digivolve. My hypothesis is that the light of those septillion of digivice lights somehow made this digivolution permanent." Taylor turned to Izzy and glared at him. "Then your hypothesis is wrong! Run the data again!" She said angrily. "Don't bark at me! I have run the data! Several times! Harmonymon shows no signs of de-digivolving. She has the same Code as a digimon who has digivolved to the next level naturally."
Taylor then ran over to Harmonymon and embraced her. The emotion she was holding back could be held back no longer. She burst into tears, sobbing. "But…Sharkmon is my best friend! He's like the little brother I never had! I don't want to lose him!" Taylor exclaimed through her tears. Harmonymon frowned as tears began to go down her own face as well. Harmonymon gently lifted Taylor's head up like a mother comforting her child. "Taylor…you know I have to do this." Harmonymon said, although this time, she spoke with only Tritonmon's voice rather than with all four of them together. Taylor buried herself in Harmonymon's belly and continued sobbing. "Screw the other worlds! I don't care what happens to everyone else! I just want my Sharkmon!" Taylor exclaimed. "Taylor, I know you don't mean that. Your pain is speaking for you." Harmonymon said gently, this time, with the four of the voices speaking in unison.
Taylor was surprised when she opened her eyes and saw that the other three had also joined her in hugging Harmonymon. It had become a group hug. And the other three were holding up no better than Taylor was. "Coalmon….please don't leave me. I love you." Drusilla said. "Naturemon, please. You're also like the younger sister I never had! I love you so much! Please don't go!" Martin pleaded. "Dovemon, if you stay, I'll buy you all the ice cream you could ever want!" Emmett pleaded. Harmonymon embraced all four of the children tightly as she continued to cry more. "We have to go. Please stop asking us to stay. Our hearts are breaking as it is." Harmonymon said. Harmonymon gave a kiss on each of their heads.
Evander held his head down. It was hard to see his daughter so sad. He wished he could do something to ease her pain. As much as her laughter warmed his heart, her tears shattered it. He started crying a little as well. He took some steps towards the group hug and knelt down behind his daughter. "Taylor. I'm so sorry." He said. Taylor turned around and embraced her father, crying into his shoulder. "It's…not…fair! You get to keep your Digimon! Why do I have to lose mine!?" Taylor exclaimed. Evander put his hands on her shoulders and pushed her up so she was looking in his eyes. "Listen, Taylor. When your mother and I defeated Thithemon a long time ago, Jijimon told us that the gate between the Digital World and our world was closing. We had to say goodbye to our partners. We were around your age at that time. We didn't know if we'd ever see them again. The years passed by, life went on as normal. Then, at 27, when Digimon began to infiltrate a virtual reality space called EDEN, we all reunited with our partners." Evander said. "From 2006 to 2020. That's a long time, but we did see them again." Jessica said.
Flora said, "And I'm sure the same will go for you guys and Harmonymon."
Izzy said, "Remember what I told you before Taylor?" Taylor thought back to a conversation The Elemental Four had with Izzy. Izzy then stood up and walked over to Taylor. He placed his hand on her shoulder and looked her directly in the eyes with a gentle smile. "You know, my friends and I have had to say goodbye to our Digimon partners on more than one occasion. And once…when we were in our mid-20s, our Digimon literally vanished and our digivices petrified. We thought it was goodbye for good that time. And yet look, Tentomon is here with us. I can tell you from my decades of experience as a digidestined that the bond with a Digimon partner cannot be broken so easily. Even if you do have to say goodbye to Sharkmon for a time, he will find his way back to you." When the flashback was over, Taylor nodded in Izzy's direction. "I remember." She said. Then she hung her head and continued to sob. "But it still hurts!" Evander added, "Izzy's right. And after we defeated Suedo and the Mother Eater, we had to say goodbye to our Digimon again. Fortunately, we were only apart for two years that time."
Mirei looked over to her Gatomon and BlackGatomon who were standing to her left. Then she looked over at the heartbroken children. "Based on the rate of decay, I think we need to send Harmonymon quickly. I'll give you one hour to spend time with her. Then you need to say goodbye." Merei said.
Taylor and Harmonymon stood on the beach together. The four children agreed that they would take turns spending time with her. Harmonymon grabbed Taylor by the hand. "Don't you feel like going for a swim?" Harmonymon asked. Taylor was looking down at the floor, looking consumed by sadness. "I don't." She replied. Harmonymon frowned. "Taylor, please. Let's spend some time in the ocean. This could be our last time." Harmonymon said. Taylor nodded. "Ok." Taylor took her shirt, short, shoes, and socks off and walked off into the ocean holding hands with Harmonymon. They gradually got deeper, and deeper into the water until the water was up to Taylor's waist. Then, Taylor put her goggles over her eyes and caused her legs to transform into a mermaid tail and the two took off swimming into Witchelny's ocean. The big rip was visible up in the sky of Witchelny. It went all the way across the sky.
Taylor and Harmonymon swam side by side. Harmonymon didn't have any wings while under water. Harmonymon propelled herself using her arms and the shark tail that protruded out from beneath her dark green skirt. Harmonymon looked Taylor in the eyes and said, "This water is rather warm compared to the water back home, huh?" Taylor nodded. "Yeah, I guess so." Taylor was visibly depressed. The mermaid and the nature goddess Digimon continued to swim, passing coral reefs, and all kinds of Deep Savers Digimon, some of which resembled mermaids and mermen themselves, who were never seen in the main part of the Digital World before. Harmonymon frowned. "I know you're too sad to play. If all you want to do is to keep swimming around like this…I'm fine with that too." Harmonymon said. Taylor nodded. "Ok. That sounds good to me." Taylor responded in a sad tone. Harmonymon grabbed Taylor by the hand as they swam through the ocean. "Taylor…even if we don't ever see each other again, I will always remember you." Harmonymon said. "And I'll always remember you, you little hot dog addict." Taylor said with a weak smile. Harmonymon's eyebrows furrowed. "You're right. If I'm permanently digivolved, I'll need to cut back on those. I don't wear a shirt." Harmonymon said. The two looked at each other for a moment and then started laughing.
The two swam some more, Taylor flapped her mermaid tail and Harmonymon flapped her shark tail. They gained more and more momentum. "Going a little fast there, aren't you? If I didn't know better, I'd say you wanted to race?" Harmonymon asked. "If you're challenging me, then I'll gladly accept." Taylor replied. "Alright," Harmonymon pointed to a massive pillar in the distance. "Whoever can make it to that pillar first wins." Harmonymon said. Taylor smiled and giggled. "You're on!" She said. The two then swam as fast as they could towards the pillar that Harmonymon had pointed to. Soon, they both reached the pillar, having tied. "It's a tie!?" Taylor exclaimed, her hand still touching the pillar. Harmonymon smiled at Taylor and giggled. "I guess….we'll have to resolve this race…when we meet again." Harmonymon said. Taylor smiled and giggled. "Yeah!" Taylor's depressed demeanor was now changing, and she was actually beginning to have fun with her Digimon partner.
Then it was Martin's turn to spend time with Harmonymon. Martin and Harmonymon walked through the forest just south of Boarwarts. Martin reached down and took his shoes off. Harmonymon raised an eyebrow. "What are you doing, Marty Hearty?" She asked. Martin put his shoes off to the side, and then looked up into Harmonymon's eyes. "I want to climb a tree, and sit there….with you. And….just talk." Martin replied. "Sounds good to me. Oh! But first." Harmonymon closed her eyes and caused her wings of fire to…well, stop being on fire. The wings just disappeared from her back. "I wouldn't want to burn the forest down." Harmonymon said. Harmonymon had the ability to create and retract her fire wings at will.
Harmonymon and Martin went up the tree and sat together. Martin put his arm around her and laid his head on her shoulder. "I'm sure going to miss you, Harmonymon. We've been through so much together. I know it's only been a few months, but it's felt like years." Martin said. Harmonymon placed her hand on Martin's head and ran her fingers through his thick red hair. "I feel the same way. I don't think a day will go by when I don't think about you…my Marty Hearty." Harmonymon said.
"You know…I really wish I could come with you. We could see lots of different universes together, meet lots of different people, and maybe lots of different Digimon." Martin said, his head still laying on Harmonymon's shoulder. "I wish you could come too…but you have to stay here. You have to live your life. Go to school, grow up, do adult stuff, marry Taylor, and have lots of cat fish with her. Besides, think of how sad Mario and Flora would be if I brought you all along with me." Harmonymon replied. Martin sat up quickly and looked Harmonymon in the eyes. "Marry Taylor? How do you know we'll even stay together long enough to get married. We're only 11, you know." Martin asked. Harmonymon scowled at Martin. "Listen here, Marty Hearty! You and Taylor are perfect for each other. If you're seeing other people when I return, I will kick both of your butts!" Martin closed his eyes, smiled, and laughed. "Alright, well, I wouldn't want to get a thrashing from you! I'd be cut clear in half! I guess I have no choice. I'll have to marry Taylor." Martin said. Harmonymon smiled and closed her eyes and giggled. "You'd better, Marty Hearty!"
Then it was Drusilla's time to spend some time with Harmonymon before her departure. The two of them flew through the air. Drusilla smiled at her. "It's nice to be able to fly with you without having to carry you. You're kind of heavy, you know." Drusilla said. Harmonymon scowled and huffed. "Are you calling me fat?" She asked, offended. Drusilla sweat dropped and moved her hands back and forth rapidly. "No! No! I mean that when you were Coalmon, you were a rock the size of a soccer ball!" Drusilla said. Harmonymon smiled and giggled. "Yes, it is nice to have wings of my own." She said.
"Harmonymon, why can't I go with you?" Drusilla asked.
"As I told Martin, you need to stay here, go to school, grow up, do adult stuff, and marry someone. And although I didn't say it at the time, I think Weddinmon might have been onto something." Harmonymon said.
Drusilla looked over to her and blushed. "Emmett? No, no way. I don't like him like that. No."
"Then why are you blushing?"
"I-It's hot out, ok? I must be getting sunburned."
"Drusilla, the sun isn't even powerful enough to give you a tan, much less a sunburn."
"How do you know? This isn't Earth's sun. This is Witchelny's sun. Witchelny's sun might give me sunburn by…I don't know…magic or something."
The two of them were silent for a moment. Then Drusilla gave the telling admission, "Alright. I guess he's kind of cute. And nice. It wouldn't be horrible if I ended up with him, I suppose. I could do worse. Although….blonde Devillian children would….look odd." Devillians usually had gray, light gray, or black hair. They weren't known to wear bright colors, especially their hair!
Then it was time for Emmett to spend time with Harmonymon before her departure.
Harmonymon was carrying Emmett in her arms as they flew through the sky. "Witchelny looks so beautiful from up here. I wish we had more time to explore this magical land together." Emmett said. "Yeah. Who knows? Maybe there are other Sharkmons and Coalmons here." Harmonymon said. "You never know. There are so many Digimon here that aren't in the Reference Book." Emmett said. "Emmett….I'm sorry I couldn't keep my promise." Harmonymon said.
"Promise?"
"The promise I made to you back when we fought Mephistomon. To be there for you in case your worst fear came true."
"Harmonymon….don't worry about it. Besides, I have a feeling you'll come back. What you have to do is more important than anything. It's bigger than me and my mom. It's bigger than all of us. Besides, if you don't go…none of us will have to worry about anything….because we'll be dead."
Haruka and Snakemon were taking a walk down on the ground below. Snakemon was perched on her left shoulder. They looked up to see Emmett and Harmonymon flying overhead. "So, what's next? What are you going to do, Haruka?" Snakemon asked. Haruka was silent for a moment. She looked rather sad. She went from looking up at the flying Digimon to looking down at the ground. "I….I don't know. Now that things have calmed down, I've had time to think about all the terrible things I've done. I don't know how I'm going to atone for them. I also….don't know where I'm going to live. Our home is gone." Haruka said.
Emily suddenly walked up upon them. Haruka and Snakemon were so lost in their own thoughts that they didn't even know she had been following them. Emily looked up and smiled. "That son of mine. It's still amazing to me how he's matured. He no longer clings to me like a leech, he's no longer afraid of heights, he's definitely made friends his own age, and I'm almost certain he 'like likes' Zai's daughter." Emily mused. Haruka and Snakemon jerked when they heard Emily speak. Emily giggled and put her hands on her hips. "Sorry. I didn't mean to sneak up on you like that." She said. "Th-that's fine." Haruka replied. Emily was quiet for a moment. She closed her eyes and bowed her head. She had something she wanted to propose to Haruka. She lifted her head and opened her eyes. "Haruka…I overheard what you said. I've been doing some thinking ever since I first met you in All For One World HQ. You and I are…a lot alike. We were both unwilling victims of Warlockmon. The black magic in the Red Stones corrupted my heart and made me the power hungry Digimon Ruler. Warlockmon, manipulating Morty Shin, kidnapped you and turned you into a killing machine, someone whose very existence was meant to destroy the multiverse. I know from my own experience of coming out of that darkness how utterly debilitating that kind of guilt can be." Emily said. Emily took a few steps towards Haruka and put her hand on her right shoulder. "Even after 27 years, it still haunted me in my nightmares. But with the help of my friends, and especially my son, I think I'm finally over it. The Digimon Ruler is not Emily Liberty. I would like to help you come to realize that Owarimon is not Haruka Abe." Haruka, Emily, and Snakemon were quiet for a moment. "So what are you saying?" Snakemon asked. "Haruka, I'd like to adopt you. Look, Emmett told me about Snakemon being your mom reincarnated as a Digimon. You don't have to call me Mom or anything, you don't even have to consider me as your adoptive mother. Maybe an aunt or something? I just want to help you." Emily said. Haruka looked to Snakemon, wondering what she thought about this. Snakemon nodded. "Take the offer, Haruka." She said. "But Snakemon, you ARE my mother. You're Nozomi Abe." Haruka replied. "Yes, but you need Emily. She's been where you are. She can help you overcome your guilt. Besides, my role has changed. I'm not your mother anymore. I'm your Digimon partner. That doesn't mean I don't love you the same as when I held you in my arms for the first time. It certainly doesn't mean I won't continue to be here for you. But you need someone to fill my shoes. I mean, look at me, I don't even have feet!" Snakemon argued.
Haruka thought about it. She gave Snakemon a kiss on the head. Turning to Emily, she responded, "Ok. I accept." Haruka then bowed, becoming emotional. "I'm extremely grateful for your compassion and kindness." Emily took Haruka into her embrace. "Welcome to the family, Haruka." Emily said as she held the crying girl. Emily then looked up again. Harmonymon and Emmett were doing loopty loops in the air and Emmett was making excited noises at all the aerial maneuvers he was making Harmonymon do. "WHOO HOO! I love the skies!" Emmett shouted. "Emmett, can we stop? I think I'm gonna be sick!" Harmonymon objected. "YO! EMMETT! YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE A SISTER!" Emily shouted. Emmett's eyes widened and his jaw dropped. "WAT!?!? YOU'RE PREGNANT!? OH MY GOSH, IT'S MORTY'S ISN'T IT!? HE HAD THE FORCED NAUGHTYS WITH YOU, DIDN'T HE!? OOOOH! I'D KILL HIM IF HE WEREN'T ALREADY DEAD!" Emmett shouted, his emotions going from shocked to outraged. Emily's expression turned deadpanned and she sweat dropped. "No! I'm not pregnant! I'm adopting Haruka!" Emily responded. Emmett blushed, feeling a little embarrassed about the conclusion he jumped to. "Oh! Well….OK!" He shouted. Emily bowed her head and sighed. Haruka just started laughing. The situation was kind of funny, but it wasn't just that. Her heart had been flooded with joy.
About 10 minutes later, Taylor, Emmett, Drusilla, Martin, and their Digidestined parents, along with Haruka and Snakemon were standing on the beach in front of a dimensional rip. It was in the sky, but it had spread in the past hour and was now accessible from the ground on the beach. Harmonymon was facing the children with her back to the dimensional rip and the children were facing toward her. Wernicus was standing beside Harmonymon. The four children embraced Harmonymon one last time. "Harmonymon, we all love you." Taylor said. "Never forget us, ok?" Martin said. Then they stepped back. Then, Harmonymon began to address each of her partners one by one in the voice of the individual Digimon who made up the jogress.
Speaking with Tritonmon's voice, she said "Taylor, as I travel throughout the multiverse, I'll probably meet many of your multiversal counterparts, but there will always be only one Taylor I love, and that's you. Never give up your love of learning. Read as many books as possible, get your PH.D in Digimon Research, and get that Nobel Prize you talked about. Marry Martin and have lots of cat fish together. And….and I know this is a big thing to ask….try sharing that beautiful singing voice with the world. At least sing to your children. Your voice is so beautiful that it's almost something magical…otherworldly."
Speaking with Chlorismon's voice, she said, "Martin…Marty Hearty. It has been a wonderful pleasure knowing you and being able to call you my friend. Please be good to your mother. I know she's not as smothering as she used to be, but if she ever relapses into her helicopter parenting, just know that she adores you…just as I do. You're everything to me. Since I first came to your world…you've been my world. Flora must feel this way too. Perhaps it was not by chance, but a loving nod from fate that my Mega form and your mother should both be named after the Greek goddess of the flowers. Speaking of flowers, whenever you see them, I hope you'll think of me."
Speaking with Feroniamon's voice, she said, "Drusilla. I know that whatever you do in life, you'll look cool doing it. But just try not to get kidnapped by any more cake Digimon or vampiric family members, kay? I know Devillians are seen by most of the universe as monsters. You'll probably be discriminated against your whole life because of your planet's reputation. But no matter what people may say about you, always remember the truth. You are a kind and gentle soul just like your mother. Be the kind of person you want to be, not what the world thinks you are."
Speaking with Mariamon's voice, she said, "Emmett, I hope you get along well with your new adopted sister. Perhaps she can fill in for me as your partner-in-crime, pulling pranks on Lopmon. Also, be there to be a shoulder for her to cry on. She's been through a lot, more than any child should ever have to go through. I know you'll be as good of a brother to her as you were a good son to Emily. That's just the kind of person you are."
The children now all had tears running down their face, but they tried their best to remain composed as Harmonymon spoke what could be her last words to them before she left, possibly for good. "We won't let you down." Taylor said. Harmonymon smiled as tears began to stream down her cheeks. "Until we meet again, my best and dearest friends." She said. She and Wernicus then turned around and left through the dimensional rip.
Outside the mother universe, Harmonymon placed her hands on the three bubble universes stuck together (The physical world, The Digital World, and Witchelny) and used her powers to seal the rip.
