Tai, Matt, Ryo, and their Digimon made it back to World For Us All HQ. They had gone to an apartment that Mirei had prepared for them, and they all stayed together. Mirei was pacing around her office, obviously unsettled. Her BlackGatomon and Gatomon watched as she walked around and around her desk. The room was very dimly lit with only the desk lamp near Mirei's computer as the office's only source of light. It was late in the day. A lot had happened; The Elemental Four took down two demon lords, they found the mole, and they successfully extracted Ryo. Mirei put her head in her hand and sighed. "Boy, what a day." She said. The two Gatomons were cuddled up together in what looked to be a cat bed. The white Gatomon raised her paw with a concerned look on her face. "Mirei, isn't it time for us to go home? It's like, really late." She said. Mirei turned around, put her hand down and smiled at the little white Digimon. "You can go home if you want. I still have work to do." Merei said. The BlackGatomon tilted her head. "What work?" She asked. "Mr. Kamiya and Mr. Ishida successfully extracted Ryo from All For One World after their own mole ratted him out. Now I have to ponder the consequences of that." Mirei replied. "Consequences?" The BlackGatomon asked. Mirei reached up and adjusted her glasses before putting her hand down and replying, "Without Ryo's intel, we'll have no clue what All For One World's next move is. And what's troubling is that they still have Emmet's mother and her Lopmon. I felt better about that situation with three of our agents there, as they could intervene to protect her if need be. But…." Mirei said. Her mind was filled with troubles. She gave a sad smile of irony and chuckled. "Oh, Evander. You always came to me in the DigiLab whenever you got lost. Now, I'm the one's who's lost? What's my next move? How do I progress in this game?" She mused aloud.
The next day….
The Elemental Four and their Digimon were standing in the Kommondomon garage. Jessica ran down the hallway, still garbed in a clamshell bra and Aqualian loin cloth. She appeared to be in a hurry. Davis was walking down the hall going in the opposite direction about to turn a corner. His partner had regained his Rookie form and was a Veemon. They were carrying stacks of boxes of instant ramen. "Davis, you literally make ramen for a living, why do we need to eat this instant stuff?" Veemon asked as he walked. The boxes of instant ramen were so high that the little blue Digimon couldn't even see where he was going. "Because, Veemon, I'm on sabbatical with this Muliversal Digidestined team thing. When I come home after a long day of protecting Digimon from Gizumon, I'm too tired to cook real ramen." Davis replied. At that moment, Jessica turned the corner and slammed into the man, knocking him over and causing the boxes of instant ramen to scatter. Jessica gasped. "Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry! I'm in a rush! I'm sorry!" She said before taking off running again. Davis rubbed his tailbone, stood up, and started gathering the spilled ramen. "Jeeze, the least that lady could do was stay and help me gather my things." Davis said. "Maybe she didn't want to fall in love with you. That's usually how it happens in the movies." Veemon said. "Please, if it were that easy, I'd be Kari's husband instead of T.K." Davis said.
Jessica kept running. She finally made it to the Kommondomon Garage. "Wait! Don't go yet!" She exclaimed. She was panting heavily. "Oh boy! Swimming fast….and running fast….are really different experiences." The middle aged ginger mermaid mused aloud. Drusilla asked, "Mrs. Glovion, what is it?" Jessica panted some more, bent over and supporting herself by having her left hand on the wall. Jessica then stood up straight and walked down the steps over towards the children. "I know you're rescuing my team one by one. I have a request to make. Please save Evander next." Jessica said. Drusilla frowned. "Well, to be fair, we decided that since we saved one of Taylor's parents, we'd save one of Martin's next." She said. Jessica looked disheartened. She lowered her head. "I'm worried. It's been 4 days since The Demon Lords took us. I haven't seen my husband's face or heard his voice in 4 days. I'm worried about him…and I miss him. Please." Jessica pleaded.
Taylor frowned. She wanted to save her dad as much as Jessica did, but they did all agree. Martin looked over at his recently aqquired childhood sweetheart and put his hand over hers. "Taylor. It's ok. In fact, since some of them are spouses, it seems only right to me that we should rescue them back to back." Martin said. Taylor smiled at the cat eared boy. Then she turned her attention to her mother. With a determined looked and a clenched fist, she said, "Then it's settled. Our next victim will be Beelzemon." Taylor said. Drusilla grimaced. Calling the Demon Lords their victims made it sound like they were a group of hitmen, though the term wasn't inaccurate. "Victims? What are we, assassins?" Drusilla asked sarcastically. Sharkmon ran around Taylor's leg. "Nope! Taylor's a mermaid and you're a Devillian!" Sharkmon said.
The team got in the Kommondomon and headed off to Universe 616 and the Dark Area. Once they arrived, they nearly had a head on collision with what looked to be a blonde woman on a motorbike. The Kommondomon panicked and swerved to the left as did the woman on the motorbike. When she did this, her motorcycle had toppled over, throwing her off and a little purple creature who was sitting in the side car. The children ran out to check on the woman to see if she was alright. "Hey! Are you alright!" Taylor exclaimed. "We're sorry!" Sharkmon shouted. "We didn't see you there!" Drusilla shouted. The woman who was now standing up and brushing the dirt off herself from the toppled over motorcycle had long blonde hair, a long sleeved zipped up leather crop top that exposed her entire tummy and her underboobs, skin tight leather pants that ended in black colored high heels, and a black flowing cape with multiple tails. On the woman's head appeared to be a purple helmet or mask which covered part of her face. The woman had three eyes. Two of her eyes were to the left and to the right as on a human. The third was on her forehead. This was no ordinary bike chick! On each of her hips were a holster holding a double barreled pistol. This blonde womanly figure ran over to the little purple creature that fell out of her side car. He seemed scruffed up a little. "Impy!" She exclaimed as she ran. She knelt down and started examining the little purple creature. "You're not hurt are you?" She asked. The purple creature was bi-pedal and about 3 feet tall. He had a red bandana around his neck and an emoji on his chest. The emoji had a mischievous expression. "Yeah, I'm perfectly fine, no thanks to you." He said. The blonde, three eyed biker chick picked the little purple creature up and started examining him. "Hey, put me down! I said I'm fine!" He said in an irritated tone. She pointed to a large scrape on his arm. "Then what is this?" She asked.
The Elemental Four approached the two. "Hey, are you ok? We're really sorry!" Drusilla said. Taylor's eyes went wide and sparkly. A huge smile broke out across her face. She raised her right hand, index finger extended. Drusilla rolled her eyes. "Oh boy, lecture time." Drusilla said. Taylor took a deep breath before speaking; "This is Beelstarmon, a Mega level Digimon of the Nightmare Soldiers field. She's a virus type, and is a skilled shooter. Digimon Researchers have sometimes referred to her as Lady Beelzemon due to her similar appearance to Beelzemon. She's a member of The Three Musketeers; a group of outlaw, gun slinging Digimon. The name is probably a play on the word 'musket' given that they're all gunslingers. Beelstarmon's attacks include 'Fly Bullet' which homes in on the enemy's vitals like a heat seeking missle, Fly Missile, in which she wildly fires guns hidden in the heels of her boots, and Double Claw, in which she stabs and tears through her opponents with knives stocked on the Rizoma De Loto. I've never seen one in person! This is amazing!" Taylor then pointed at the small purple creature and then grinned with her eyes closed while making a squealing noise. "And that's Impmon! A Rookie level Virus type in the Nightmare Soldiers field! His attacks include Night Of Fire which attacks the enemy with fire balls he creates with his fingers and Infernal Funnel in which he creates a circle that summons lots of fire and ice to blast the enemy with! There are other attacks, such as-" Drusilla put her hand up over Taylor's mouth. "That's enough, Professor." Drusilla said in a monotonous tone.
Beelstarmon looked at the children with an intense gaze. Taylor then realized she had probably started geeking out at the wrong moment. She looked a little embarrassed, looking down at the ground, frowning and blushing. "Sorry about that." Taylor said softly. Drusilla lightly bopped Taylor on the head a couple of times with her umbrella. "You should maybe let Digimon introduce themselves." She said. Sharkmon hopped over to the two. He looked up at Beelstarmon. "Well, you don't look hurt." Sharkmon said. "You children…..you're Digidestined, are you not?" Beelstarmon asked. "We are. But how did you know?" Martin asked. "No human children have ever come to the Digital World who weren't. I have a very special request I would like to ask of you." Beelstarmon said. Naturemon, who was standing right behind Martin grinned and put her arms around her head. "Ask away! We need to make it up for you for nearly turning you into Digi-Pancakes!" Naturemon said. Sharkmon grinned and began licking his lips. "Mmmmm! Pancakes! I could go for some pancakes right about now!" Sharkmon said cheerfully.
Inside the Kommondomon, Martin brought over a large basket full of grapes. He set the basket of grapes in front of Beelstarmon and Impmon. "These are grapes created from my partner Digimon's body. They have the power to heal even the most severe wounds." Martin exclaimed. Beelstarmon reached down and picked one up. She handed it to the Impmon, but he smacked her hand. "What do you think I am? An infant? I can feed myself!" Impmon said. Beelstarmon scowled and growled. She clenched a fist and had one of those popping anime vein things on the side of her head. "You little twerp! I'm just trying to help you!" She fussed. "I don't need your stinkin' help!" Impmon fussed. "Why you little!" Impmon stuck his tongue out at Beelstarmon and pulled on his eyelid. "Bleeeeh!" Beelstarmon grabbed one of the grapes and forcebly shoved it into the Impmon's mouth. "Just eat the darn grape you little turd!" Beelstarmon said. Impmon was about to spit the grape out in defiance, but he loved the taste too much. He decided he would choose to eat and swallow the grape. Once Impmon swallowed the grape, the scrape on his arm and leg vanished! Impmon looked surprised as he gazed at his arm which was now completely healed. He looked over at Naturemon and smiled. "Whoa! That's some good tasting medicine there, Leaf Lady!" Impmon said.
Martin and Naturemon sat down in the U shaped couch that was at the back of the Kommondomon interior. They were right next to Taylor and Sharkmon who were to the left of Beelstarmon who was to the right of Impmon. They were all sitting on the Kommondomon couch together. "So, what's this special request you have for us?" Dovemon asked.
Beelstarmon was silent for a moment, as though a feeling of sadness was coming over her. She folded her hands and looked down at the floor. "Almost a week ago, The Demon Lords completely took over the Digital World. Jijimon, who was an elder who lived in File City, summoned 6 children from the human world and assigned them Digivices that his friend Datamon had created along with partner Digimon. There was a boy who wore goggles like this girl here. His name was Carl. He had a twin sister named Carly. The two looked very much alike and they were very close. They both had Dracomons as Digimon partners. Another child, Blaise, was partnered with a Coronamon along. A blonde girl whose name was Mona, had a Lunamon. Finally, there's Mike and Niles, who couldn't have been more different. Mike was a country boy. He grew up on a farm called Breakaway Farms in Golden Grove, South Carolina. Hard working, not a lot of money. Totally different from Niles who grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth." Beelstarmon explained. Then she smiled and sighed. "Sorry, I'm rambling. These children…..did not succeed in saving the Digital World against the Demon Lords. They had to face all 7 of them at once. They….they were all deleted!" Beelstarmon said, starting to choke up.
Taylor and the others felt their breaths taken away at this news. Impmon was now chowing down on the grapes as snacks. "I was surprised they lost. I mean, they had some pretty potent Digimon on their side." Impmon said in between bites. He took another bite of a grape, but Beelstarmon slapped his hand. "Don't be greedy!" She fussed. Beelstarmon then sat up and looked at the children. "They fought with all their strength. They had Examon, Apollomon, Dianamon, Cannondramon, and Craniummon. But they weren't enough to stop the Demon Lords. Maybe if they could have fought them only one at a time…maybe if they could have stopped that red wizard Digimon from reviving them….I don't know." Beelstarmon said.
There was silence for several minutes. Taylor was in absolute shock. The partner Digimon of these children who came to this Digital World before them had one Royal Knight whose level was above Mega (a jogress between Slayerdramon and Breakdramon) and had a member of his species as a member of the Royal Knights, two Digimon whose had members of their species in the Olympus Twelve, another Royal Knight, and a Mega level cyborg dinosaur Digimon. The latter two had to be the megas of ToyAgumon and Gotsumon respectively. So far, they had killed two of the Demon Lords, but then…they only had to fight Lillithmon and Leviamon one at at time. What would happen if the Demon Lords decided to fight as a group? Would they meet the same fate as these children?
"You know a lot about these former Digidestined." Dovemon said. "Did you know them?" Coalmon asked. Beelstarmon nodded. "Yes. I approached them with the same request I'm about to propose to you; I asked them to spare my brother's life….and to find some way of swaying him back to the side of good." Beelstarmon said. Taylor frowned. "Beelzemon." She simply said.
"Beelzemon wasn't always the power hungry, ruthless Digimon he is now. We grew up together. We were very competitive against each other…and I was always one step ahead of him in digivolving….I sometimes wonder if maybe I'm to blame as to why he sought out Lucemon's help for more power. One time, back when he was a Yaamon, he was being picked on by a group of Rookie level Digimon. He tried to fight back, but he was just too weak. I had just digivolved to Impmon, so I fought them all off single handedly with several Night Of Fire and Infernal Summoning attacks. At first, he didn't seem to resent me for helping him, he seemed grateful. Later, when I had achieved digivolution again, and became Sistermon Noir, I once again found my little brother being picked on. This time, by a group of Kawagamon. He had achieved Rookie, but he wasn't strong enough to take on these big bugs by himself. I destroyed every Kuwagamon attacking him with one shot of my Mickey Bullets." Beelstarmon explained.
Beelstarmon then remembered what happened next. The sun was setting, and the two sibling Digimon watched the sun set together over the ocean near a cliff edge overlooking one of File Island's beaches. Impmon was nestled in Sistermon Noir's lap like a small teddy bear. Sistermon Noir had her arms wrapped around him as they both faced the sunset. "Sis, why is it that I'm always losing battles? Do I not train enough? Or am I….just weak?" The little Impmon asked. He was scuffed up from the day's previous battle. Sistermon booped his nose. "You're not weak. You were one Rookie going up against 6 Champions. You just need to digivolve more and you'll acquire better skills. You'll be faster, stronger, and have more attacks. You just need to be patient. Digivolution takes time and effort." She said. She then leaned down and kissed the little Impmon on the forehead. Sistermon Noir smiled. "I'll always be here for you, Impmon. Even if neither of us is strong alone, we'll be strong together." Sistermon Noir said. Impmon closed his eyes and smiled. "Thank you for believing in me, sis." He said. Then he laid back in his older sister's lap and they both gazed out at the sunset covered ocean.
Beelstarmon stopped reminiscing about her past with her brother and decided to resume her story. "My brother kept fighting and eventually he did get stronger. He stopped losing battles and started winning. One day, he had digivolved to the Champion Level. He had become a Bakemon. Meanwhile, I, as usual, had already reached Ultimate by then. Gradually, I began to notice a change in my brother. He started going out of his way to fight Digimon. He no longer fought just to defend himself, he instigated battles everywhere he went. He eventually reduced so many Digimon to DigiEggs that Jijimon, who was a Wisemon at the time, banished him from the island after a lengthy battle. I followed my brother. I promised him that we'd always be together. Soon, he became Reapmon and continued his quest for power. No matter how strong he got and no matter how many fights he won, it was never enough. He wanted more. It was….like an obsession, no, it WAS an obsession! Eventually, he became Beelzemon and continued his hunt for power. Not even achieving the Mega form was enough for him. The harmonious ones sealed him away for a time. When that Digimon revived them, I took it as another chance to try to reason with him, but I failed. I had those children do it. I watched and didn't join the fight….because I knew I had to live on to raise Impy."
Silence filled the room. But some tears could be seen going down Beelstarmon's face. She wanted them to be a duo again like they used to be. She wanted to go back to file island with him and watch the sunset together. Maybe this time, she would sit in his lap. Maybe they'd stay to watch the stars and she could identify all the constellations.
"Then let's do it! Let's get Beelzemon to become a good guy!" Sharkmon said enthusiastically.
"That's easier said than done, Sharkmon. Do you think he'll just respond to 'pretty please'?" Dovemon said.
"Maybe some hot dogs would persuade him. If I were an evil demon lord Digimon, I'd be persuaded by hot dogs." Sharkmon said.
"Hot dogs are not the solution to everything, Sharkmon!" Dovemon said, sounding a little annoyed.
Taylor felt bad for Beelstarmon. She never knew was it was like to have siblings. It was not easy for a human and a mermaid to procreate. It wasn't impossible, but the odds were stacked against conception. They had tried for a decade just to conceive Taylor! Sharkmon was pretty much the closest thing she had…and ever hoped to have…to a little brother. Taylor took a deep breath and said in a serious tone, "We'll do what we can, but….we make no promises. Beelzemon and all the Demon Lords have to be stopped. We'll try to talk to him, but if we're unable to convince him, we will have to destroy him." Beelstarmon was silent for a second before saying, "I understand. Thank you."
They then headed off for Beelzemon's tower. Beelstarmon rode on her motorcycle with Impy in the side car. The children and their Digimon partners rode inside of Kommondomon. The sound of Beelstarmon's motorcycle roared as she traveled alongside the Kommondomon, filling the nearby area.
The crew eventually made it to Beelzemon's tower. Unlike the previous two lairs of the Demon Lord, this lair was a tall slim tower. It was surrounded by a fence with Fangmon roaming about acting as guards. The Kommondomon and motorcycle came to a halt. The children exited the Kommondomon one by one with their Digimon. They walked over to Beelstarmon who was looking ahead to the tower. She had a serious expression on her face. "My brother is in there." She said. Taylor looked at Beelstarmon, tapping the tips of her fingers together and looking a bit anxious. "Getting Beelzemon to become a turncoat to the Demon Lords will be difficult. People don't change their behavior easily" Taylor said. She had flashbacks to her father and how hard she tried to keep him from isolating himself in the basement with his work. Taylor then smiled, "But it's not impossible." She said, remembering when he finally understood, back when they took down Gizumon XT together in an abandoned warehouse.
Naturemon then looked over at the little Impmon in the sidecar. She furrowed her eyebrows and frowned. Why was this child here? Wasn't Beelstarmon putting him in danger by bringing him along? What purpose could she have in bringing him. Beelstarmon caught Naturemon staring and knew exactly what she was thinking. "My son is here to help remind my brother of what he used to be. Impy is a lot like his uncle. He too wants to become strong." Beelstarmon said. Naturemon looked surprised at the answer. It was as though this Digimon had read her mind. "Oh, I see." Naturemon replied. "Yeah, but I'll never be anything like him! I want to be strong, yeah, but only to protect my mom and my friends. And I don't go looking for fights like Beelzemon does. I'm a challenge acceptor, not an instigator." Impy said, sounding almost as though his mother's assertion that he was just like his uncle was an accusation he needed to defend himself again. Beelstarmon patted him on the head.
Drusilla opened her umbrella and spun it around while it was over her head and the handle rested on her shoulder. "So how are we going to get in? Should we brute force our way past these Fangmon?" Drusilla asked. Taylor smirked. "Fangmon, a-" Drusilla then covered the tween mermaid's mouth. "No! No lectures! Just a plan to get by them!" Drusilla exclaimed. Taylor removed the gothic lolita girl's hand from over her mouth. "Excuse you, but I was going to tell you about a plan." Taylor let go of Drusilla's hand and zipped open her satchel and showed its contents to everyone. Other than her Digivice and smartphone, it was filled mostly with hot dogs! Sharkmon's eyes went wide and his jaws dropped. "Taylor, no! You can't….be…..planning….to!" Taylor ran over to the gate with stars in her eyes and a mischievous grin on her face. "Sorry, Sharkmon, but my Dad is more important than your cravings!" She exclaimed. Drusilla grabbed Taylor by the shirt and yanked her back. "You know, you COULD sing." She said. Taylor's face turned red all over. She turned around and looked at Drusilla with a panicked expression. "No no no no no no!" She said rapidly while shaking her head and waving her hands, "You don't understand, these are beastly Digimon! The way to their hearts is through their stomachs, not their ears. They wouldn't care about my singing. Why would a Fangmon be affected by my singing? There's no point in even trying." Taylor said. She then looked down when she felt something cling to her leg. She was taken aback to see Sharkmon clinging to her leg crying. "Pleeeeeease Taylor! Don't get rid of my hot dogs! I'll never forgive you if you do! Just sing to them! Pleeeeeeease!!!!" Sharkmon said through his tears. Taylor sighed. "Fine."
Taylor then began vocalizing a beautiful tune. It caught the Fangmon's attention. They walked over to the gate, not seeming hostile at all. Martin and Emmet got hearts in their eyes. Taylor continued vocalizing, as she did the Fangmon appeared enchanted by her. Beelstarmon gave the others a gesture that they should get moving. And they did, save for Martin, Emmett, and Sharkmon. Beelstarmon scoffed. "Men." She said in a tone of annoyance before picking the two boys up by their collars and walking through the gate with them. The girls and the Digimon with feminine traits in their group weren't affected by the singing. It sounded nice, sure, but it didn't effect their cognitive faculties like it did the opposite sex.
"Hey, intruders are walking past us." One Fangmon said.
"Shh! I don't care! Don't interrupt the pretty girl's even prettier singing!" Another Fangmon said.
Taylor kept vocalizing as she watched all of her friends and their Digimon walk past the Fangmon with no resistance. Taylor's eyes went down to her little shark buddy next to her. She bent down and picked him up, still not ceasing to vocalize the tune she was singing. She walked with Sharkmon in her arms. Soon, the group made it up a few steps which lead to the door of the tower. Naturemon reached out and grabbed the handle of the door. Pushing on it to open, the group walked inside and closed the door behind them. Taylor finally stopped singing and her face went beat red. "I really hate doing that." Taylor said. "Why?" Asked Martin. "It's not like I hate attention or anything, but….there's something about singing that makes me feel….exposed. It's like I'm bearing my soul for everyone to see." Taylor explained. "If that's your soul, then it's the most beautiful thing in the universe, no, in the multiverse. You shouldn't hide something that supremely beautiful from the world." Martin said. Now Taylor looked even more bashful, now not only blushing, but fidgeting and twiddling her thumbs too. Emmett's eyes darted over to Drusilla for a quick second and then back at Martin. "Holy crud, that's smooth! I'm going to have to ask him to write stuff down for me." Emmett thought.
They looked and saw two sets of stairs. One went up and the other went down. "Two stairways. Should we go up or down?" Drusilla asked. Emmett rubbed his nose and leaned in towards Drusilla. "Umm….up, because you're an angel and up is where you belong." Emmett said. Drusilla looked over at him with a confused and somewhat annoyed look on her face. She flapped her batlike wings a couple of times, causing some wind to blow in Emmett's face. "That's kind of offensive. You know my people gained the reputation of being fallen angels due to our appearance and vicious behavior." Drusilla said. Emmett looked mortified. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" He said bowing a couple of times. Impy ran down one of the stairs. "I think he's this way!" Impy shouted. Beelstarmon ran after him. "Impy! Don't run off on your own! It's dangerous!" She exclaimed. "Well, I guess that settles that." Dovemon said. "Yep. Downstairs it is." Naturemon said. Everyone took after them. The group walked down a flight of steps, and then turned left to continue going down another flight of steps. Then they turned left again to go down another flight of steps. They kept going until they reached the bottom. They reached the bottom to find a throne in the middle of the room with Evander and his Digimon in a cage next to it!
Taylor smiled with sparkling eyes. "Dad!" Taylor exclaimed. Evander seemed surprise to see her. "Taylor?! What are you doing here?" Evander exclaimed. "What are we, chopped liver?" Agumon asked. "I hope not, I don't find liver appetizing at all." Ladybugmon joked. Taylor ran over to the cage her father and his Digimon were in. She looked over back at Sharkmon and said, "Come help me bust this thing open." Sharkmon nodded and ran over to help her partner. Drusilla's eyes darted to the left and to the right. "Something's not right here. If this is Beelzemon's throne room, then where's…?" Her sentence was cut off by the sound of a loud, flushing toilet followed by the sound of a sink being turned on. Whoever was using it was humming. They all turned to look in the direction these sounds were coming from. The door opened and Beelzemon walked out. "Oh great, visitors whose data I will gladly absorb." Beelzemon said with a grin on his face.
The kids were silent for a moment. "Were you just in the bathroom?" Drusilla asked. Beelzemon sweat dropped. "Yes." He replied. "And you…washed your hands?" Drusilla continued. "Of course I washed my hands! Just because I'm a villain doesn't mean I'm unhygienic!" Beelzemon barked. "And you….hummed Happy Birthday twice?" Drusilla continued. "That's how long the CDC says to wash your hands. That's another way I can use Corona Destroyer." Beelzemon joked. Silence. "I don't get it." Martin said. "You must not have had that pandemic in your universe. Well, let me tell you, the toilet paper shortage was-hey, wait! Don't sidetrack me! Let's fight!" Beelzemon said.
Beelzemon then noticed a familiar sight. "Beelstarmon, what are you doing here?" He asked, sounding a bit miffed. Beelstarmon walked up to him and placed on of her hands on his shoulder. "Brother, I'm here to bring you back home. Come back to File Island with me." She said. Beelzemon grabbed Beelstarmon's hand and removed it from his shoulder. "Who said I wanted to go back? Besides, I was banished." Beelzemon said. Beelstarmon shook her head. "I don't consider any physical space my home. Home is where my family is. I'm home so long as I have you and Impy." Beelstarmon rebutted. Beelzemon looked to the right and spit. He clenched his fists in hands and gritted his teeth. Unclenching his jaw, he said, "Get out of here. I know we haven't always seen eye to eye, but I still love you, sis. I don't want to have to kill you." Beelzemon said.
Evander was blushing and some blood was trickling down his nose. "Hey, that feminine looking Beelzemon is kind of a babe." He said. Taylor looked back at him with an angry expression and one of those anime vein popping things. "Not you too!" Taylor barked. Naive little Sharkmon tilted his head and put his claw up to his mouth. "Babe? No, she's a Mega level Digimon. Baby Digimon are usually just bouncy little heads." Sharkmon said.
Impy got in front of his mother and spread his arms out with an angry look on his face. "Hey, if you want to kill my mom, you'll have to get through me first!" Beelzemon looked surprised to see the little Impmon. "So this is Impy, I take it? Look, pipsqueak, you don't stand a chance against me. And like I said, I'm not going to kill her…unless she forces my hand." Beelzemon said.
"What happened to you, brother? You've turned into a stone cold killer. FIBN has reported the number of Digimon whose lives you took just to become stronger. And now, you're at the Mega stage. Haven't you become strong enough? Haven't you reached your goal?" Beelstarmon asked.
"No, I'm not strong enough. I never will be. Not until I become omnipotent. Those who are content to remain as they are will someday meet someone better than them. And in this world, it's kill or be killed. Even in more civilized parts of the Digital World, there are disputes. Two Digimon could be having a meal together. Soon, a nice conversation turns into an argument, and the argument turns into a battle with fists and fangs flying. The one weaker will die. I would have already met my demise if not for you, sis. There will always be someone who's a threat to my being; whether it be Lucemon, who would surely destroy me if I abandoned the team, Owarimon, or this mythical Harmonymon Morty Shin warned me about. I won't stop seeking power until I can overcome all of them! Evolution cannot stop! Those who refuse to keep evolving will go extinct!" Beelzemon explained.
Beelstarmon lowered her head and frowned. She wondered if she could really get through to him after all. "So many have been absorbed by you…not even being allowed to be reborn as DigiEggs. That is the power of a Demon Lord…right? How can you live with yourself?" Beelstarmon asked. Sadness filled her voice. Impy was still standing in front of his mother in a protective posture. "You only care about yourself! That's why you want power! You're greedy! One should seek power so they can protect others!" Impy shouted indignantly. Beelzemon sighed.
Evander tapped on the metal of the cage a few times. "I'm still in here." He said. Taylor and Sharkmon smiled nervously and rubbed the back of their heads. They were so attentive to Beelzemon's and Beelstarmon's discourse that they forgot to work on getting Evander, Agumon, Terriermon, and Ladybugmon free!
Taylor took her digivice out. It glowed and the word "DIGIVOLUTION" scrolled across the screen. "Sharkmon digivolve to…..Jawsmon!"
Jawsmon grabbed hold of the bars of the cage and pulled them apart. Evander and his Digimon crawled out through the opening Taylor's Digimon had made. "Thanks, Jawsmon. You're really strong." Evander said as he stood up and turned around, facing Jawsmon's back. "aNd a hUnK!" Taylor said in a mocking tone. Evander raised and eyebrow and titled his head in confusion. Taylor giggled nervously and waved her hand. "Inside joke." She said.
Beelzemon noticed that his captives were getting free. He growled and started running towards Taylor, Evander, and their Digimon. "You're not going anywhere! Darkness Claw!" He shouted, swinging his sharp, black, claw at Jawsmon. Evander grabbed Taylor's hand and began to ran. "Come on, let's get to a safe distance," Evander said. Taylor and Evander ran towards the stairs leading up to the ground floor. Ladybugmon, Terriermon, and Agumon followed. Taylor looked around at the room as she ran with her father. The room was pretty spacious, but given that they were deep underground, she thought it might be too dangerous to fight here. "He needs us as leverage against Emily, right? Then he'll surely chase after us." Evander said. Apparently, he had the same thought as Taylor just did; get him outside. Beelzemon noticed that the girl and her dad were trying to escape with Agumon, Ladybugmon, and Terriermon. He growled and took off running towards them with his claw ready to strike. "Lucemon will have my head if you get away!" He shouted. Beelstarmon felt a sting in her heart. Was he really this afraid of the Demon Lord leader?
The group made it outside only to remember that a group of Fangmon were there! Taylor felt her heart drop. She figured she'd better get singing. However, before she could, one of the Fangmon lunged at her. Evander was quick to react, he punched the Fangmon in the jaw and knocked it over, to Taylor's surprise. "Don't threaten my daughter or else I'll make fur rugs out of every one of you!" Evander shouted angrily.
Some more Fangmon lunged at them! "Pepper Breath!" Agumon shouting, shooting a ball of fire out of his mouth. "Terrier Tornado!" Terriermon attacked, spinning around rapidly and creating a whirling vortex of air which he then sent at one of the Fangmon. "Super Sonic!" Ladybugmon shouted, sending sonic waves out of his beating insect wings. The attacks hit the Fangmon and were enough to repel them backwards a few inches, but didn't seem to do much damage. "Again! Pepper Breath!" Agumon shouted, shooting another fire ball out of his mouth. "Bunny Blast!" Terriermon shouted, firing multiple green fireballs out of his mouth. "Super Sonic!" Ladybugmon shouted as he sent more sonic waves out of his beating insect wings. The three Fangmon who lunged at them were hit, but still, they didn't seem phased much.
But they had an even bigger problem! Beelzemon had caught up to them. "Playin' with my dogs, huh? Why should they get all the fun?" Beelzemon taunted as he pulled his double barreled pistols out of their holsters and pointed it at them. "Go back to your cage, all of you." Taylor saw Jawsmon behind Beelzemon. "Shark Body Ram!" Jawsmon rammed into Beelzemon and knocked him over. Beelzemon stood up and pointed his pistols at Jawsmon. "That was rude!" Beelzemon said.
"DIGIVOLUTION"
"Jawsmon digivolve to…..WarJawsmon!"
"Great White Gatling!" WarJawsmon shouted as he fired the gatling guns in his arms. Beelzemon got hit but smirked and even laughed a little! None of these bullets were harming him. "You call this an attack? I'll show you an attack." Beelzemon said. He pointed his pistols at WarJawsmon again. "Double Impact!" He shouted before firing four bullets from his two double barreled pistols. "Fly Bullet!" Suddenly, bullets came and deflected the bullets that were headed towards WarJawsmon! Beelzemon and Jawsmon looked over to see that the bullets were fired by none other than Beelstarmon. "Brother, stop this! Don't hurt these children and their Digimon!" Beelstarmon said in a commanding tone. Beelzemon growled. "Sister, I told you to stay out of this!" Beelzemon shouted angrily.
The other Elemental Digidestined got out their digivices too.
"DIGIVOLUTION"
"Naturemon digivolve to….MotherNaturemon!"
"MotherNaturemon digivolve to….Vineyardmon!"
"DIGIVOLUTION"
"Sharkmon digivolve to….Jawsmon!"
"Jawsmon digivolve to….WarJawsmon!"
"DIGIVOLUTION"
"Coalmon digivolve to….CoalGolemon!"
"CoalGolemon digivolve to….MagnetGolemon!"
"DIGIVOLUTION"
"Dovemon digivolve to…Harpymon!"
"Harpymon digivolve to….HolyHarpymon!"
Beelstarmon stared at her brother for a few seconds in silence. "I won't stand by and let you hurt any more innocents. I love you, brother, but if you insist on continuing to walk the path of darkness…." Beelstarmon let the unfinished sentence linger in the air. Beelstarmon scowled. He stood up and pointed his guns at her. He hesitated. He tried to pull the trigger but as he stared into her eyes, images flooded his mind of all the times they spent together. They spent their whole lives together since the moment they hatched. One memory popped into his mind that he seemed to be fond of the most; that time she held him and watched the sunset with him, back when she was a Sistermon Noir and he, but an Impmon. He remembered how gentle her hands felt, and how soothing her voice was. She was always a benevolent soul. Beelzemon lowered his guns and grunted. "Damn it!" Beelzemon shouted. "Damn it! Damn it! Damn it! There's no way I could ever hurt you, sis! You're the only one I can't aim my guns at." He said. One of the Fangmon said, "Well, technically sir, you did AIM them." He said.
Beelstarmon walked over to her brother and embraced him. "Brother." She said. "I'm sorry, Beelstarmon. I've made you worry about me. I won't hurt you or these children. If that means being killed by Morty Shin or Lucemon, so be it. I'd rather die than lay a finger on you." He said.
The Elemental Four couldn't believe what they were seeing. Were they about to take down a Demon Lord by talk no jutsu? HolyHarpymon smiled. "Well, I guess that's one Demon Lord we no longer need to worry about."
"You're right." Came an unexpected voice. Everyone turned to see who said that. It was a familiar voice. It was Owarimon! The snake growing out of her back had a Red Mark on it and had glowing red eyes. "Owarimon!" MagnetGolemon exclaimed. No one had seen her come up. She was standing just behind the gated entrance of the tower. Owarimon jumped over it, which was incredible since the gate was 20 feet high! When she landed on the other side, she took out her sword and darted towards Beelzemon. "If All For One World can't use you as a weapon, we'll just harvest your data to make me stronger!" Owarimon said as she ran with the weapon pointed forward. She was fast! Really fast! Beelstarmon jumped in front of her brother and took the sword right to the gut! Owarimon had completely impaled her! Everyone looked shocked at what they had just witnessed! It happened so fast! "Beelstarmon!!!" Everyone shouted in unison.
Beelstarmon coughed up some dark blue blood onto her attire. Her abdomen around the puncture area was beginning to pixelate and dissolve! Owarimon pulled out her blade and grunted in frustration. "Your DigiCore is useless to me. I'll just let you become an egg." Owarimon said. Beelstarmon fell to her knees. Her body was beginning to dissolve into tiny bits of data. She was going to fall over, but Beelzemon caught her. "Beelstarmon! Why!?" He said, as tears formed in all three of his eyes. Beelstarmon moaned in pain, and coughed up some more blood. "Why? Because…..I'm…..your big sister. I….promised to protect you…to the end." Beelstarmon replied. And then, her body dispersed into data particles before reforming as a DigiEgg. Beelzemon grabbed the DigiEgg and began sobbing. "No! NO!!!!!!" Owarimon laughed. "DigiCore time!" She said before stabbing Beelzemon and impaling him too! He dissolved, but….he didn't reform into a DigiEgg. Elsewhere, Anubismon, who was under the control of the red ring around his neck, took his DigiCore and handed it to an All For One World Agent. "Your cooperation is much appreciated, Anubismon." He said with a bow.
Taylor, Martin, Drusilla, and Emmett looked enraged. They had just witnessed another injustice at the hands of Owarimon! First, it was Witchmon and Wizardmon, now it was Beelzemon and Beelstarmon. The kids were so full of rage that they were all shaking. "YOU MONSTER! YOU HORRIBLE MONSTER! I'LL TEAR YOU APART PIECE BY PIECE!!" Taylor shouted. "BEELSTARMON JUST WANTED HER BROTHER BACK! SHE JUST……WE'LL MAKE YOU SUFFER! WE'LL MAKE YOU SCREAM IN AGONY!" Martin yelled. "DIE!" Drusilla yelled. "YOU DON'T DESERVE TO LIVE!" Emmett shouted. Their Digimon looked concerned. They had never seen them this angry before. Evander was thinking the same thing. In the 11 years he had raised his daughter, he never saw this level of fury out of her. Suddenly, all four of their Digivices began glowing in a dark black aura!
