M. Sc. in Physics

Digboi College created history by becoming the first college affiliated to Dibrugarh University to start Post Graduate Program in Physics in the regular mode on 5^th of August 2016. The Program was started with specialization in Electronics and Condensed Matter Physics .

Since the time of its inception, the Department of Physics has been putting forward its best effort in imparting quality education to the students hailing from different parts of the state which has been reflected it its results.

Right from the inception of the course the institution has been trying to motivate the students towards research by organizing workshops and seminars and by encouraging them to participate in such programs organized by other institutions. Guest lectures are organized at a regular interval with a view to broadening the horizon of the students by exposing them to diverse perspectives through resource persons from different institutions.

Presently the department is ready to admit its 5^th batch with 17 seats.
