ABSTRACT :
This course equips current and aspiring school leaders with the knowledge, mindset, and tools needed to harness Artificial Intelligence (AI) to drive innovation, equity, and continuous improvement. Aligned with ISP’s Leadership Competencies, participants will engage in practical applications of AI to support strategic decision-making, personalized learning, ethical leadership, and inclusive school culture.
Overall course objective: Develop a personal or school-based action plan for staying agile and informed in a rapidly evolving AI landscape, including strategies for continuous learning and professional development.
This course is designed to equip school leaders and teachers with the knowledge and skills needed to harness AI’s potential while developing the ISP leadership competencies and maintaining pedagogical integrity and equity. By exploring AI-driven tools and strategies, participants will learn how to:
Adapt to the Future of Education – AI is rapidly evolving, and educators must be prepared to integrate it into their teaching and leadership practices to stay relevant.
Enhance Teaching & Learning – AI can analyse learning observations, offer strategic and scaffolded action plans, enhance the identification and intervention between teacher performance and academic results.
Strengthen Leadership & Decision-Making – School leaders can leverage AI for data-driven insights, teacher support, and strategic planning, ultimately improving institutional effectiveness.
Ensure Ethical & Equitable Implementation – AI in education must be used responsibly to address biases, protect student data, and promote accessibility for all learners.
By participating in this course, school leaders gain the confidence and practical skills needed to integrate AI meaningfully, ensuring it serves as a tool for empowerment rather than a replacement for human connection and expertise in education.
