Didier Nibbering

I am a Ph.D. candidate in economics at the Tinbergen Institute and the Econometric Institute at the Erasmus School of Economics in Rotterdam, advised by Richard Paap and Michel van der Wel.

My research interests are high-dimensional inference, forecasting, and semi-parametric Bayesian inference. My job market paper develops Bayesian estimation methods to deal with large choice sets. In a high-dimensional empirical application, I examine how preferences for holiday destinations differ across households.

I will be available for interviews at the ASSA Annual Meeting in Philadelphia.
