Privacy Policy

Dicide (掷定) is a dice roller for decisions and tabletop role-playing games, with an iMessage extension. It does not collect, store or share any personal data with the developer or anyone else.

What the app does not do

• It has no accounts and no sign-in.

• It has no analytics, advertising or tracking, and it does not use any third-party SDK.

• It does not connect to any server run by the developer. The app makes no network requests of its own.

What stays on your iPhone

• The last formula you rolled (dice, modifier, advantage, DC), so the panel opens where you left it.

• Your Settings (for example, whether critical success and failure are used). The app and its iMessage extension share them through an App Group on your iPhone.

• The app's Recent list (the last 10 rolls). It is kept in memory only and is cleared when the app closes.

• When you tap a sent roll in Messages, that roll is briefly passed to the Dicide screen that opens to show it, through the same App Group. It is removed as soon as that screen opens, or the next time Dicide opens.

None of this leaves your iPhone, except as described below. Deleting the app deletes it.

Rolls you send in Messages When you roll in Messages, the roll (formula, dice, total and the optional purpose you type) is placed in an iMessage that you choose to send. Apple's Messages delivers it to the people in that conversation, as with any other message. The developer does not receive it. Apple's handling of iMessage is described in Apple's Privacy Policy (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/).

Crash reports If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone's settings, Apple may provide the developer with anonymous crash reports. This is controlled by Apple and by you, not by the app.

Children The app collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.

Contacting support If you email support, the developer receives your email address and message and uses them only to reply to you.
