Aritra Pal, PhD.
Aritra Pal is the professor in charge of the DICE research group. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at IIT Madras, with a Ph.D. in Construction Automation from National Taiwan University. He has held postdoctoral positions at the University of Cambridge and National Taiwan University. His research focuses on AI, machine learning, digital twin construction, and building information management to improve efficiency and sustainability in construction projects. He brings both academic and industry experience, including work on large-scale construction projects in India and the Middle East.
