The mission of the Diaper Dash Bash is to create immersive experiences for our community that will raise funds to provide resources for underserved families in the Bronx through partnership with Manhattan College's Lambda Pi Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi, Local Community Organizations, and Professional Sponsors.
I am Clare Farrelly an Accounting and Marketing Major in the O'Malley School of Business at Manhattan College. As a part of the Beta Alpha Psi Chapter at Manhattan College I have participated and presented in three conferences on our community service opportunities and initiatives one placing third in the regional conference. I am the President of our Lambda Pi Chapter for the 2022 Calendar year. I will be running this years Diaper Dash Bash Virtual 5K Race. The Hopeline Organization is an amazing asset to our Bronx community and assisting their organization has become my main goal throughout my four years at Manhattan.
The event is located at Van Cortlandt Park.
Meeting Location: The Tortoise and the Hare Statue.
To date, The Lambda Pi Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi has held 8 diaper dash events inviting students to participate in field day like activities on campus. These have been very low scale events and to date we have raised a total $10,000. Our hope is to elevate the scale of our event and raise at least $5,000 with this single event.
