Hello! I’m a doctoral student in George Mason University’s Environmental Science & Policy Program. I have a prior BA in psychology and MA in Industrial-Organizational (I/O) Psychology. In 2013, I embarked on a career change motivated by a desire to apply my previous skillset to address current environmental challenges. My friends jokingly call me the "I/O BIO." Here's a little information about my skillset:
More than ten years experience conducting and applying research to real-world settings.
Skilled at collecting, managing, and presenting data for expert and novice audiences.
Experience collecting data through a variety of forums including biological fieldwork, bench chemistry, public use datasets, and behavioral methods (reviews of written correspondence, surveys, structured oral interviews, and focus groups).
Developed assessment tools such as behavioral surveys and interview protocols.
Worked in consulting, government and nonprofit arenas and offer a mix of knowledge, skills, and practical experience in ecology and psychology.
