Diann Lentini
Hello, my name is Diann Lentini and I am a teacher candidate for the school year 2023-2024. Over the course of my life, I have always known that I wanted to be a teacher. Ever since I was little, I have had a natural interest in and drawn to the field. I have a passion for learning and helping others reach their fullest potential.
I obtained my bachelor's degree in Child and Adolescent Development from California State University, Fullerton. While completing my bachelor’s degree, I worked as a special education paraprofessional. In this role, I gained insight and experience on how to best meet the needs of special education students in the general education setting. Working in elementary schools all over the Brea Olinda District has helped me build a strong foundation.
In May 2021, I graduated from CSUF with a 3.0 GPA. In August 2021, I began my teaching credential and master's program through Grand Canyon University. This program instilled in me professional skills that I am eager to share with my future colleagues and students. I completed my 18-week student teaching placement at Mariposa Elementary in Brea, CA in fourth grade with my mentor teacher, Mrs. Shawna Palomino.
