Thank you for choosing Dianc Media!
Although I'm sure there won't be any issues, there are a few ground rules in order to keep everyone safe and happy!
If you can take a few moments to read and ensure that you understand.
Any questions, feel free to ask!
a. To ensure complete understanding of the project at hand, we will engage in a detailed conversation to make sure your vision can become reality.
b. When enquiring for a quote, please be aware that pricing reflects scale and is subject to change. It is best to tell us fully what you're looking for before expecting an accurate quote.
c. (For hourly-based invoices) If, on the day, there are issues which mean that we cannot start on the agreed time, we will still charge from the time we arrive. Any exceptions are deemed on a case-by-case basis.
d. Revisions can be requested at any time, but they will be lower quality with watermarks. Before receiving the final products at full quality, any outstanding payments will need to be settled.
a. Payment may be made fully upfront, partially upfront, or fully after completion via invoice.
b. Depending on the scale of the project, a small deposit may be required for booking purposes and/or to cover costs. The deposit amount will be deducted from the final invoice charge.
c. The final quote is subject to change if the project circumstances change drastically. However, we will always enter discussions on how to proceed (i.e. continue with the price change or honour the quote with changes, etc.). Therefore, the sooner changes are declared the better.
a. For any cancellations, a minimum of 48 hours notice is required.
b. If 48 hours or more notice was given, any payment (not including deposit) will be returned.
c. If less than 48 hours notice was given, or cancellations are made during the post-production process, a charge may be placed in regards to how much work has been completed.
d. In any case, deposits are non-refundable.
e. The only exception for receiving the full payment and deposit back is if we, Dianc Media, are unable to complete the project or booking due to unavoidable emergencies. However, cancellations such as this are a last resort.
a. Dianc Media takes safety issues very seriously which is a view we hope to share with those we work with.
b. Any safety concerns will be noted as they arise to best gauge how to move forward. Therefore, if equipment, gear or person is intentionally damaged or hurt due to negligence, deposits will not be taken out of the final invoice.
c. Worse case scenario, if anyone working for Dianc Media are attacked, injured, grabbed and/or harassed within the confines of the project, we reserve the right to leave on the grounds of our own safety without completing said project and no deposit or payment will be returned. Hopefully, it will never come to this.
a. All materials, visuals, RAW footage, created audio and photography, including the electronic files used to create the project, remain the property of Dianc Media.
b. Completed projects will be used for portfolio reasons unless specifically requested not to.
c. Any unused materials, especially in the event of cancellation, can be recycled for future use on other projects, unless they are assets provided by the client (such as personal photographs, business and sponsors logos, etc.).
d. If a client wishes to, there may be a possibility of buying the ownership and rights.
