We aim to empower future generations in the mining industry by fostering the development of women and youth.

We will increase the acceptance and promotion of women in the industry across the globe to ensure it is diverse, inclusive and  sustainable.

Mission

Diamonds in the Rough exists to promote diversity and inclusion in mine rescue and emergency response. Diamonds in the Rough will continue to educate youth and general public on this topic through public speaking engagements and hands on training.

Purpose

DITR is organized exclusively to promote diversity in non-traditional gender roles in industry and specifically in the areas of emergency response and mine rescue by establishing, maintaining and supporting programs, training, and events that serve to achieve and support our Vision, Mission and Values.
