2018 International Mines Rescue Competitors

Born and raised in Regina, Jennifer currently resides in Red Deer Alberta. She has been employed at Cameco’s Rabbit Lake for six years as an Environment and Radiation technician.

Jennifer has eight years of experience on the emergency response team and, for the past two years, on mine rescue as well. She has also volunteered for competition preparation on site many times.

Why is this important to Jennifer?

“It’s an amazing opportunity to show what women can do. We can participate at the same level as men in emergency and mine rescue situations.”
