Diamond KO Ranch is a 1st generation ranch started by Kaden Owens, Kaden had no intentions in starting a ranch or even a herd of cattle but after he bought his first steer he decided to go ahead and get a few more cows, so he bought a bull named Zues and 2 heifers named Mable and Red Lady. On September 5th 2023 Orignally known as (Diamond KO Ranch), Diamond KO Ranch was officially a ranch, Kaden is really excited to see where this takes him and he really appreacieats all the support and help everyone has given him. 

Shorthorns were originally bred as a dual purpose breed in England and Scotland but eventually farmers broke off and focused on beef and another focused on dairy. Shorthorn and shorthorn cross cattle have an excellent rate of gain, good feed conversion, and increased marbling and tenderness. Overall the shorthorn breed is an ideal choice for the production of high quality beef in any farming system.

Shorthorns possess amazing qualities for adaptability, mothering ability, reproductive performance, feed conversion, longevity, and our favorite – good disposition. Shorthorns are notorious for docility! I’ve been around a lot of cattle and shorthorns are by far the easiest to work with. When you can get out of your truck walk up to your herd and not one gets stirred up, that speaks volumes for the breed

Diamond KO Ranch is a full blodded Shorthorn/Bramhan cattle operation located in Milton FL. A family owned farm,Diamond KO Ranch strives to produce functional cattle that have the proven performance to work in real world beef production.

Paired with a love for the Shorthorn breed and a passion of livestock showing, Kaden started a breeding program that would move his herd in a more productive and efficient direction with a strong emphasis on consistency.
