DiamondDrill respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the DiamondDrill mobile application.
DiamondDrill is designed as a local-first baseball practice planning and player development app for coaches.
DiamondDrill is designed to operate primarily on your device.
The app may access or store the following information locally on your device:
Team names
Coach names and contact information
Player names
Player jersey numbers
Player positions
Practice schedules, times, and locations
Practice plans and selected drills
Player skill ratings
Player development notes
Player development video clips
Calendar export files created by the user
This information is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to external servers by DiamondDrill.
DiamondDrill requests camera or media access only when related features are used.
The app may request the following permissions:
Camera — to record player development video clips
Storage / Media Access — to select or save video clips and exported files
These permissions are used solely to provide in-app functionality and are controlled by the user.
DiamondDrill does not access your camera, videos, or media library in the background.
DiamondDrill allows coaches to record or attach video clips to player development notes.
These video clips may include youth players. Coaches are responsible for obtaining any necessary parent, guardian, team, league, or organization permission before recording or storing player videos.
Player development videos are stored locally on your device. DiamondDrill does not automatically upload player videos to cloud services or external servers.
All team data, roster information, practice plans, player notes, skill ratings, and development clips are stored locally on your device using standard operating system storage.
DiamondDrill does not automatically upload your data to cloud services.
If you delete the app, clear app storage, change devices, or remove local files, DiamondDrill data or video clips may be lost.
DiamondDrill does not collect, sell, or share personal data.
Data may be shared only when the user explicitly uses export or share features, such as:
Exporting calendar files
Sharing practice schedules
Sharing files through device-supported share options
The user fully controls when and how data is shared.
If you share DiamondDrill information through another app or service, that sharing may be subject to the privacy practices of that third-party app or service.
DiamondDrill uses standard Android system components and open-source libraries to provide functionality such as media selection, video playback, local storage, and file sharing.
These components operate within the Android platform environment.
DiamondDrill does not use third-party advertising services and does not sell user data.
Users can:
Delete teams
Delete players
Delete practices
Delete player development notes
Delete video notes
Remove locally stored app data by uninstalling the app
Delete exported files from device storage
Deleted video notes may remove the associated locally stored video file when managed through DiamondDrill. However, if a video was copied, exported, backed up, or shared outside the app, those copies must be managed separately by the user.
DiamondDrill is intended for use by adult coaches, assistant coaches, instructors, or team organizers.
DiamondDrill is not intended to be used directly by children.
Because coaches may enter information about youth players or record youth player development clips, coaches are responsible for using DiamondDrill in compliance with applicable laws, league rules, team policies, and parent or guardian consent requirements.
Do not enter, record, or store information that you do not have permission to manage.
Because DiamondDrill data is stored locally, security depends on device protections such as screen locks, operating system safeguards, and user control of device access.
Users are responsible for securing their device and controlling access to exported files, shared schedules, player notes, and video clips.
This Privacy Policy may be updated as features evolve. Updates will be reflected by the “Last Updated” date above.
