This Privacy Policy describes how the mobile application **« Français Facile A1-A2: Écoute»**
(package `pdf.mp3.learn.dialoguefrancaistexteaudio`, the "App") handles information. The
App is intended for users aged **13 and over**.
## 1. Summary
- We do **not** require an account and do **not** collect your name or email.
- Learning progress (XP, streaks, favorites) is stored **only on your device**.
- We show ads via **Google AdMob**; with your consent, advertising identifiers may be
processed to serve and measure ads.
- Speech recognition and translation are performed using on-device / system services;
audio for pronunciation practice is processed **locally** and is not stored by us.
## 2. Information processed
**a) On-device data (not sent to us).** Progress, settings, favorites and learned words
are saved locally (Room/DataStore). Microphone audio used for the Speaking module is
handled by the Android speech recognizer and is **not** recorded or uploaded by the App.
**b) Advertising (Google AdMob).** To show ads, Google may collect and process device
information and advertising identifiers (AD_ID) as described in Google's policies. A
GDPR/UMP consent dialog is shown before ads are initialized in applicable regions.
**c) Analytics & crash reporting (optional).** Firebase Analytics/Crashlytics may be
enabled in production to understand stability and usage. When enabled, Google processes
the corresponding data per its terms.
## 3. Permissions
- **INTERNET / ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE** — load ads, download offline translation models.
- **RECORD_AUDIO** — pronunciation/speaking practice (processed locally, not stored).
- **POST_NOTIFICATIONS** — optional daily learning reminders.
- **AD_ID** — advertising identifier for AdMob (subject to your consent).
## 4. Legal bases (GDPR)
Consent (ads/analytics where required), and legitimate interest (app functionality and
security). You can withdraw consent at any time via your device settings / the in-app
consent options.
## 5. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
You may request access, correction, or deletion of any personal data, and (CCPA) opt out
of the "sale"/"sharing" of personal information. Because progress is stored locally,
clearing the App's data or uninstalling removes it from your device. For other requests

## 6. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data
from children under 13.
