Dialysis Centre Ulivella, opened in 2003, is highly specialized in treating End Stage Renal Disease. It’s able to treat more than 60 patients in any period of the year. The Centre is reserved to patients negative for Hepatitis B.

Facilities available

15 Monitors Artis Physio (Baxter) and Electronic Bed-Scales. Air Conditioning, Television and Free Wi-Fi are available during dialysis.

Water treatment is performed by a new generation double CWP 800 Reverse Osmosis Water System (Gambro) with hot water loop disinfection.

The Dialysis Centre is placed within the nursing home "Ulivella e Glicini" with the following services: Internal Medicine, Long-term Care, Orthopaedic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Anesthesiology, Neurological Rehabilitation, Cardiological Rehabilitation, Cardiology, Nephrology, Urology, Gastroenterology, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Radiology, Analysis Laboratory.

On 11 November 2023 Dialysis Centre has been accredited by Joint Commission International which has evaluated and found it to meet the international care quality standards for patients care and organization management.

Dialysis Centre does not accept European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) but only payment.

PATIENT INFORMATIONS REQUIRED TO BOOK HOLIDAY DIALYSIS

(to be provided, by e-mail at least 1 month before, to place a formal booking request):

1. Full Name of the travelling patient.

2. Exact Dates of required dialysis treatments.

3. Medical History.

4. Blood test results related to Hepatitis B (HBsAg), Hepatitis C (HCV) and HIV. Markers have to be dated no more than 3 months. Dialysis centre does not accept Hepatitis B positive patients.

5. Dialysis Form duly filled in (Please click here to download).

6. Copy of the patient's Passport.

Failure to complete this information will result in the cancellation of dialysis booking
