Academic Writing Workshop
To enhance students’ readiness for final examinations, the Department of English organizes a yearly evaluation of internal exam papers under the mentorship of Dilip Barad Sir, with valuable support from Prakruti Ma’am and Megha Ma’am. This practice enables students to identify recurring errors, refine their writing techniques, and develop a more systematic approach to answering questions. By reviewing their own responses, students deepen their understanding of key concepts and learn to articulate their thoughts with greater clarity and precision.
In addition to this initiative, the department conducts a workshop titled “Essay Type Answer Analysis” aimed at further strengthening students’ academic abilities. The workshop focuses on essential aspects of essay writing, including constructing strong arguments, maintaining logical flow, and ensuring clear expression. Through detailed discussions and meaningful feedback, students receive hands-on guidance to improve their writing style and produce well-organized, analytical answers in their examinations.
Digital Skilling
In today’s digital age, technology plays a vital role in students’ daily lives by providing access to numerous applications and online platforms that aid both learning and skill development. Recognizing the increasing importance of these digital resources in education, a Digital Skilling Workshop was organized for first-year students to familiarize them with a variety of useful and emerging tools. The main objective of the workshop was to encourage students to explore new technologies and effectively integrate them into their academic work and creative pursuits.
The workshop was conducted by senior students under the guidance of the ICT Committee, offering a hands-on learning experience with multiple digital platforms designed to enhance research skills, productivity, and communication. Participants engaged with tools that support efficient note-making, data management, presentation design, and digital content creation, allowing them to gain practical experience. The interactive nature of the session motivated students to actively participate, ask questions, and experiment with different features, fostering a collaborative and dynamic learning environment. By the end of the workshop, students gained valuable insights into how technology can be utilized to improve their academic outcomes and prepare them for future professional challenges.
