July 11, 2024 : Kabita successfully defends her Ph.D. thesis titled “Study of α-cluster transfer reactions with 7Be”.

July 2, 2024 : Ritankar is selected to participate and present his research work at “Euroschool on Exotic Beams” at Jyväskylä, 

                       Finland (Aug 25 - 31, 2024). His travel expenses are funded by Euroschool.

June 19 - 28, 2024 : Ritankar attends “International School of Trigger and Data Acquisition (ISOTDAQ 2024)” at University of Science and Technology                                   (USTC), Hefei, China. He received full financial support from CERN to participate in the school.

Dec 12, 2023 : Mustak gets his Ph.D. degree from the University of Calcutta. Congratulations Dr. Sk Mustak Ali ! 

                         (Mustak is already a Research Associate at FRIB, Michigan State University, USA since June 2023)

Dec 9-13, 2023 : Dhruba delivers an invited plenary talk titled “The Nuclear Physics Aspect of the Cosmological Lithium Problem” at the 

                            “67th DAE Symposium on Nuclear Physics 2023” at IIT Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Kabita presents her thesis titled 

                            “Study of α-cluster transfer reactions with 7Be” at the DAE symposium. Ritankar gives an oral presentation titled 

                            “Breakup of 7Be on 12C at 5 MeV/u”.

June 16, 2022 : Mustak gives a talk titled “Measurement of (d,p) and (d,3He) reactions with 7Be in the context of Li abundance anomaly” at the   

                          “Astrophysics with Radioactive Isotopes (AwRI)” conference in Budapest, Hungary during June 12-17, 2022. He received support of  

                          $2000 from the Joint Institute for Nuclear Astrophysics - Center for the Evolution of the Elements (JINA-CEE).
