Getting Started
After installing, open Dhikrullah and follow the short onboarding. To get prayer-time–based features working, set your location in Settings → Prayer Times → Location (use your device location, or search for your city). Everything else works straight away — no account or sign-up needed.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why are my prayer times slightly different from my local mosque?
Prayer times are calculated from your location using a chosen calculation method. Different mosques and authorities use different methods and angles. Go to Settings → Prayer Times → Calculation method to pick the one your community uses. You can also enable Hanafi Asr for the later Asr time.
My prayer times look wrong / aren't showing.
Make sure a location is set in Settings → Prayer Times → Location. If you'd rather not grant location permission, use Search for a city instead.
I'm not receiving notifications.
1. Turn on reminders in Settings → Notifications.
2. Make sure a location is set (prayer reminders are timed to prayer windows).
3. Check that notifications are allowed for Dhikrullah in your iPhone's Settings → Notifications.
You can adjust the sound and set per-prayer timing offsets in the app's Notification settings.
Does the app work offline?
Yes. Once set up, Dhikrullah works fully offline — the adhkar, audio and counter need no internet connection.
Do you collect my data?
No. There are no ads, no tracking and no accounts. Your counts, streaks and preferences are stored only on your device.
How do I change the theme, font, or text size?
Open Settings → Appearance for themes and light/dark mode, and Settings → Typography to change Arabic/English fonts and text sizes.
The audio won't play.
Tap the speaker icon on the dhikr card to play. Make sure your device isn't on silent for media and the volume is up. Audio is bundled in the app, so no connection is required.
How do I replay the tutorial?
Go to Settings → Redo Tutorial to replay the counter walkthrough.
How are streaks and stats calculated?
Your streak rewards daily consistency, and the stats screen shows time spent and totals across categories. All of this is stored locally on your device.
Will my data sync to a new phone?
Because everything is stored locally with no account, data does not currently transfer between devices.
