The EMBODIED TANTRA RETREAT
8-Day Tantra Retreat in Khajuraho
March 07 – 14, 2026
Khajuraho, India
Facilitated by: Dharma, Ulrike & Swami Ganga
Enter the Inner Temple of Tantra
Step into the sacred land of Khajuraho — where ancient temples whisper secrets of devotion, sensuality, and spiritual union. Inner Temple is an 8-day immersive Tantra retreat inviting you to return to your body, awaken your sensual essence, and open your heart to authentic connection.
Khajuraho, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the heart of India, is home to some of the most magnificent temples ever built. Created between the 9th and 12th centuries, these sacred spaces embody a vision of life where meditation, spirituality, nature, and human consciousness are deeply interconnected.
For centuries, seekers have been drawn to India in search of self-discovery and inner awakening. The spirit of Khajuraho reflects the essence of Tantra—not as a philosophy to be understood intellectually, but as a path to be experienced through presence, awareness, and embodiment.
Tantra, Yoga, and Ayurveda share a common foundation: the cultivation of harmony between body, mind, energy, and consciousness. Through meditation, breath, movement, and mindful living, these ancient traditions invite us to reconnect with our natural state of balance and aliveness.
During this retreat, we will immerse ourselves in meditation, embodiment practices, conscious connection, and visits to the sacred temples of Khajuraho. Surrounded by the timeless beauty and spiritual atmosphere of this ancient place, we invite you to slow down, turn inward, and rediscover the deeper dimensions of yourself.
Held by the powerful presence of Dharma, Ulrike, and Swami Ganga, this retreat offers a safe, sacred, and non-sexual space to explore the depth of Tantra as a spiritual path of embodiment, intimacy, and inner freedom.
- Tantric Meditations
Tantric meditations support inner awareness through breath, sound, and subtle focus. These practices help awaken life energy (prana), calm the nervous system, and open deeper layers of perception. Rooted in ancient texts like the Vigyan Bhairav Tantra, these meditations are less about effort and more about softening into presence.
- Polarity Practices
Polarity practices explore the dynamic relationship between masculine and feminine energies — often referred to as Shiva and Shakti. Through partner-based and solo exercises, participants get to feel these forces not just as ideas, but as living movements within the body, breath, and awareness.
- The Healing Power of Touch
In Tantra, touch is not just physical — it is a way of listening. Participants will explore self-touch, healing touch, and conscious connection with others. Each practice is held within a clear structure of consent and respect, allowing old wounds to be met with care and the body to rediscover trust and safety.
- Heart-Centered Relating Practices
These practices create opportunities for honest, soul-level connection. Through eye gazing, presence-based dialogue, and gentle somatic exercises, participants begin to see and be seen — without roles, masks, or pressure. It’s a space to practice vulnerability, boundaries, and deeper listening.
- Osho-Inspired Meditations
Drawing from Osho’s vision of total presence and release, these active meditations include shaking, dancing, catharsis, silence, and stillness. They are designed to clear emotional residue and bring clarity, helping participants access a quiet, grounded space within.
- Vigyan Bhairav Tantra Practices
The Vigyan Bhairav Tantra is a foundational Tantric text offering direct meditation techniques for daily life. Some are as simple as observing the breath or watching a sensation. These practices are woven into the retreat to help participants cultivate spaciousness and awareness in the here and now.
- Dance and Movements
Dance and movement in Tantra are seen as natural pathways to freedom. Through guided and free-form sessions, participants release tension, move with authenticity, and reconnect with joy. These sessions often become moments of insight — where expression becomes meditation.

Swami Ganga – Mystic, Devotee, Temple Guide
Initiated by Osho in the 1980s, Swami Ganga has spent decades embodying the devotional path of Tantra. During his time in Osho’s commune, he was often entrusted to guide visitors through sacred temples across India — especially Khajuraho, where he brings deep understanding of their spiritual and symbolic significance.
At this retreat, Swami Ganga will lead a temple visit, sharing stories, insights, and Tantric teachings encoded in the carvings. He will also hold a ritual inside the temple space, offering participants a rare chance to experience these ancient sites not just as monuments, but as living portals to the sacred within.
Ulrike – Embodied Feminine Presence
Ulrike is an experienced yoga teacher, Ayurveda expert, bodyworker and Tantra practitioner with a deep passion for conscious touch, embodiment and authentic connection.
She has been traveling and learning in India and Sri Lanka for many years and has been living Ayurveda for over a decade. Her work weaves together the worlds of yoga, Ayurveda and Tantra with nervous system regulation, Thai bodywork, massage, breathwork and embodied presence, creating spaces that are intuitive, grounded and trauma aware.
Through workshops, retreats and bodywork sessions, she invites people to reconnect with themselves, their bodies and the healing power of conscious touch.
