8 weeks of discovery, learning and contribution

Program Starting June 21st, applications close on June 13th

Project work is eligible for volunteer hours and Presidential Service Volunteer Awards.

Please note, normal intern registration for DIP 2021 has closed. All interns who apply late will be waitlisted and considered only based on availability.

The internship will have learning modules and contribution through various projects for all high-school students and grads.

Project work is eligible for volunteer hours and Presidential Service Volunteer Hours.

All participants will receive certificates on the successful completion of the internship.

Learning Modules

'Hindu Dharma For Teens' course (Level 1,2,3)

Courses on Hindu dharma, Hindu history, and Hindu people. Includes viewing videos, reading, writing, analysis & group discussions.

Level 1 is primarily focused on Mahabharata. Also includes concepts of dharma, yoga, etc

Level 2 is focused on Hindu Dharma, Hindu civilization, and Hindu people.

Level 3: Advanced module on Hindu spirituality.

Interns who have completed any of the levels last year will get an opportunity to enroll for the next level this year.


Projects

Stories Project

Read, investigate, write and create story books on heroes and inspiring people from the Hindu heritage.

Stories of Impact

Investigate, interview and write articles and reports about exemplary unsung change makers who have transformed the lives of many through their service.


Documenting stories of exemplary service

Interview, understand and write reports and stories of exemplary service of volunteers across US during the COVID19 pandemic.

Projects of Impact

Investigate, interview and write articles and reports about inspiring projects how they were conceived and built and how they are contributing to the community.


Content Creation Project

Create blogs, webinars, podcasts, presentations and audio books
