DharmaBandhan (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates the DharmaBandhan mobile application.

Based on your role (Yajman, Purohit, Zonal Purohit, SuperAdmin):
Profile details (qualification, experience, languages, etc.)
Verification details (such as identity/Aadhar documents for Purohits)

Booking date, time, and location
Assigned Purohit details
Booking history and status
Transaction details (amount, status, reference ID)
Note: We do NOT store card or bank details. Payments are processed securely via third-party providers (e.g., Razorpay).
Profile images
Identity documents (for verification purposes)

App usage data
Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token
We use your data to:
Create and manage your account
Enable puja booking and matching with Purohits
Process payments and generate invoices
Send notifications and booking updates
Verify Purohit identities
Improve app functionality and experience
Provide customer support

To fulfill booking requests
To perform puja services
Razorpay or similar providers for secure payment processing
Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Notifications)

As required for bookings and transactions

Users can delete their account:
Directly from within the app (Yajman users), OR
By contacting us at: support@dharmabandhanapp.com
Upon deletion request:
✅ Your Firestore user data will be permanently deleted
✅ Your uploaded files (profile images, identity documents) will be removed from storage
✅ Your account will be deactivated and removed from active systems
Note:
Some limited data (such as transaction records) may be retained if required for legal, financial, or fraud-prevention purposes.
DharmaBandhan is not intended for users under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically.
Updates will be reflected with a revised “Effective Date”.
