Dharini Raghavan

I am a Ph.D. student at Georgia Tech where I am advised by Dr. Anant Madabhushi. Previously at Tech, I was a part of the Computational Behaviour and Health Analytics Lab, advised by Dr. Hyeokhyen Kwon where I developed a human-centered behaviour sensing framework for quantifying mild cognitive impairement using wearable and ambient sensors.

Prior to grad school, I was a Robotics Engineer at ARTPARK (AI and Robotics Technology Park) at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc). I worked on uncertainty estimation of pose estimation algorithms, semantic SLAM, sensor fusion and human-aware autonomous robot navigation. Even before that, I was a Project Associate at IISc where I was fortunate to be advised by Dr. Bharadwaj Amrutur. I developed a scalable edge cloud framework for multi-agent multi-view localization using monocular infrastructure cameras and distributed sensor fusion for safe autonomous navigation.

In the past, I was a research intern at the Robert Bosch Centre for Cyber Physical Systems (RBCCPS), IISc under the guidance of Dr. Raghu Krishnapuram where I developed a deep learning framework for 3D pose estimation of autonomous mobile robots leveraging monocular infrastructure camera streams. My work was supported by NOKIA Research, India! In the past, I was advised by Dr. Jayaprakash at the Frontiers in Imaging Spectroscopy and Theranostics Lab, IISc (July-Sept 2021) and Dr. Neelima Satyam at IIT Indore (Sept-Oct 2021) on various exciting endeavors.
