Once the book has been read a couple of times, parents can check by asking the child to point or to label different concepts according to the child’s language level from the story.
This book can also be used for articulation practice in a more natural way. The target sounds one can teach through this book are/h/, /f/, /ch/, /st/, /br/, /sp/, /bl/. Minimal pairs like huff and puff can also be taught. This book though unstructured yet natural way of learning will be motivating and fun way to practice target sounds.
