Ongoing Group - Diamond Heart 11
DH11 meets seven weekends per year at the Ridhwan Center in Berkeley and will be led by Ben Centanni, Deb Sylvan, and Eme Le Cavalier, with supervision from Byron Brown and occasional teaching by Hameed Ali. This is an in-person group; there will not be a Zoom option.
As the group develops over time, enrollment will eventually be closed to new participants. This continuity fosters trust, depth, and group cohesion, creating a supportive environment for the unfolding of the teaching and each student's journey.
Members are encouraged to attend every weekend whenever possible. If a weekend must be missed, students will receive audio recordings of the teachings and are invited to remain connected to the work through listening to the teaching and completing inquiry practices through journaling or with a fellow student from the group.
Ongoing participation includes:
Attending the 7 weekend meetings
One-on-one sessions with an ordained Diamond Approach teacher (usually once or twice a month)
Starting in 2028, after the ongoing group is established and closed to new members, there will be monthly small group meetings (12–18 participants). Those small groups will be in-person and usually scheduled on evenings or weekends. We will do our best to place you in a small group that works well with your schedule and geographic location.
Costs
$160 per weekend
$100–$130 per one-on-one session (depending on the teacher)
To begin likely sometime in 2028, monthly small group meetings ($45).
Note: During the beginning of the program (2026-2027), weekends will include three teaching sessions (all day Saturday and Sunday morning). As the group develops, we anticipate that additional teaching time will be needed to support the depth and pace of the work. This will likely mean adding a fourth session during teaching weekends and the possibility of an occasional three-day weekend. We will determine what best serves the group and the teaching and will communicate any changes well in advance.
