During my time in the Dental Hygiene program, I have had the opportunity to participate as an AmeriCorps member. This has given me numerous opportunities to serve at various events. Some opportunities I've had include...

• Give Kids a Smile

• Clinic rotations at CBC and Rose Park 

• Molina Healthcare events

• Head Start

And lots more service events with kids and adults. I've been privileged to teach them oral health education, provide services for regular and periodontal cleanings, and promote resources so they can improve their care and health.
