- Dongguk University provided a state-of-the-art smart system engineering laboratory since 2005. An 1100 square feet room has been completely renovated for the laboratory.
- The laboratory is currently equipped with an electromagnetic driven, uniaxial shaker with an operational frequency range of 0–50k Hz. The laboratory also has: a real-time, DSP-based dSPACE system for control implementation, a dynamic signal analyzer, and accelerometers to provide measurements of the structural responses for feedback.
- Several government-funds have also been provided to purchase additional equipment, including a test 4-bay truss structure, additional sensors, NI compact DAQ, compact RIO, and 16-channel data acquisition system with programmable anti-aliasing filters for acquiring high-quality data. A simulation package such as ABAQUS license and NVIDIA embedded module Jetson Xavier NX systems are also available for deep learning research, educational and outreach activities.
