a conference on the occasion of Simon Salamon's 70th birthday
a conference on the occasion of Simon Salamon's 70th birthday
December 15-16, 2025
Mathematics Department "G. Peano", Università di Torino
This 2-day conference is devoted to advanced research topics in Riemannian and complex manifolds defined with reference to the action of a Lie group. For instance: 4-manifolds, quaternionic and octonionic structures, twistor spaces, harmonic maps, spinors, complex and conformal geometry, homogeneous spaces and nilmanifolds, special geometries, symplectic and toric manifolds, exceptional holonomy and integrable systems.
The participants will be given the opportunity to exchange ideas and knowledge, identify open problems and start new collaborations, setting the foundations to explore new lines of research.
