2025.10.01 We are starting a new grant, Quantum Dots in 2D Materials, supported by the NRF. Our partner is again the ETH Zurich team led by Prof. Thomas Ihn and Prof. Klaus Ensslin, who will be supported by the SNSF. We are very happy to extend our collaboration and look forward to exploring quantum dot phenomena together.
2025.09.01 Yunsang officially joins our group as a new Ph.D student. ;-) Welcome
2025.08.14 Congratulations to Soyun on finally becoming Dr. Soyun Kim! We wish you all the best in your next position at SEMES.
2025.07.14 Youngwook's article about superconducting qubit in KISTI S&T Data is now available here.
2025.07.01 Our group has joined the collaborative research project under the Global Partnership Program for Quantum Science and Technology, led by POSTECH
2025.03.07 Youngwook was awarded a renewed research stay under the Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship as a former fellow for his sabbatical year.
2025.02.24 Minseo and Seungwoo join our group ;-) welcome!
We are currently looking for a graduate student with a background in physics to work on research involving two-dimensional electron systems, spin-based quantum computing, and low-temperature physics.
