At DFW Nerd Night we believe that gathering together at a table and playing board games is one of the most entertaining and rewarding things people can do. Whether it’s your family at the dining table or a group of strangers at a pub, playing games is more than just friendly competition, it supports bonding relationships, social skills, critical thinking, problem solving, and fairness.

We are dedicated to enriching the DFW board game community and effecting positive social change by hosting regular board game events to raise awareness of, and raise funds for, worthy charities in the DFW metropolitan area and the whole of the State of Texas.
In other words, DFW Nerd Night exists to be a positive influence in our local community and enrich the DFW board game community by sponsoring regular board gaming events and supporting local charities. Put even more simply: we play games and help people.
