2. 2022 Membership roster will be 100 paying members.
3. Any member may bring a guest* two times during our 2022 season, exclusive of the Draw Days (VI). (It is understood a member would see the impracticality of bring a guest on Draw Day.)
*A guest is defined as anyone not a member of our Men’s Club. The same person could be invited twice by one member and could also be a guest of a different member.
4. Notice: On Draw Days Only!
.5. Our Memorial Weekend Event will be run as a two-day member-member event. (See schedule)
6. . The Hole-In-One pool requires an initial ante of $10.00. Every year there is no hole in one, and additional contribution of $2 is required to continue in the pool. . At the time of a hole-in-one, the Club shall retain 10% of the total pool. In the event of more than one hole-in-one on the same day in the same Men’s Club Event at Dande Farms, the balance will be distributed equally.
7. The issue regarding some members being remiss in paying their green fees resulted in the following decisions. Once the incident has been reported to the Men’s Club, The Men’s Club will in fact, for the first incident, warn the member due to the fact that anyone can occasionally forget under different circumstances. If, however, the infraction occurs a second time, it will result in immediate dismissal from the DANDE FARMS Men’s Golf Club..
9. For all club events where there is a sign-up deadline and the deadline has passed, there will be no additions to the field. In other words, there will be no additional starting times assigned. Anyone who wishes to take their chances will be put on the waiting list to substitute for existing starting times as assigned. This will only be done where a member who already has a starting time either succumbs to illness or some other catastrophic incident.
10. In order to qualify for the invitational and the Club championship, new members must have a minimum of five (5) DANDE FARMS Men’s Golf Club events posted.
11. All officers of DANDE FARMS Men’s Golf Club will have five (5) preferred tee times other than tournament events. This by-law was passed unanimously by the membership to encourage other members to take on additional responsibility for leadership in the Club by running for office.
12. All members are eligible for two early tee times per year (for special circumstances only). Notification must be made to the Golf Chairman prior to the tee time posting for a particular event . The Golf Chairman will then pair up all early requests at his discretion.
13. ( .In the case of inclement weather there might be an issue regarding the cancelation of an event. If that is the case, the three (3) top officers present will make that difficult decision.
15. The suggestion was made that if anyone misses their tee time or chooses not to play because of inclement weather when the event has not yet been officially cancelled will be disqualified from participating in that event. Even though at some time during the play of that event it winds up cancelled because of inclement weather and rescheduled for another day, the individual or individuals who missed their tee time are ineligible to participate in that event by virtue of the fact they missed their assigned tee time. The membership unanimously accepted the suggestion.
