There are many different ways to buy DFI, from fiat (ex: USD/EUR), stablecoin (USDT/USDC), or crypto (ex: BTC/ETH).
Large exchange - rank 1-10 in CoinGecko

KuCoin (large exchange)
Offers stablecoin and Bitcoin trading
There are direct DFI pairs with USDT and BTC, the former of which has more liquidity, reducing potential trading losses due to slippage. The exchange also does not require KYC, and can be used in the North America, Europe, and Asia. Check their Terms of Use for restricted locations.

Bybit (large exchange)
Offers stablecoin trading
There is a direct pair with USDT. Liquidity is sufficient for smaller sized market orders. The exchange prohibits use of services in the United States, mainland China, Singapore, Quebec (Canada), North Korea, Cuba, Iran, Crimea, Sevastopol, Sudan, and Syria.

Huobi (large exchange)
Offers stablecoin trading
There is a direct DFI pair with USDT. There is a decent amount of constant volume but large market orders are not recommended. The exchange is not available for use in the United States and various other locations (see the Terms of Use for more information).

Gate.io (large exchange)
Offers stablecoin trading
There is a direct DFI pair with USDT. Market orders are not recommended considering the amount of liquidity available. The following locations are restricted from using Gate.io's services: United States of America, Mainland China, Singapore, Canada, Malaysia, Malta, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, Crimea, and Bolivia.
BitMart (medium exchange)
BitMart offers one pair of DFI (ERC-20) to USDT. There is constant market-making, but using market orders is not recommended because slippage is relatively higher.
Fees can be found here. DFI is currently a Class B token (0.25% and decreasing based on how much of the exchange token or volume the user has).
CoinEx (medium exchange)
Offers stablecoin and crypto trading
CoinEx has a pair for DFI with USDT. Using the swap feature on CoinEx, users can also swap from any supported crypto on CoinEx to DFI in one trade.

Bittrex (medium exchange)
Offers fiat, stablecoin, and crypto trading
You can also convert fiat to stablecoin to buy DFI through the USDT pair, or using Euros you can purchase DFI directly. Bittrex also offers direct Bitcoin to DFI trading and Ethereum to DFI trading. Although there are more options, the liquidity may be poorer than on KuCoin, and most users have chosen to use KuCoin.

Bit.com (small exchange)
Offers stablecoin trading
Bit.com offers a direct DFI pair with USDT. Small market orders of 100-300 DFI may be executed with low slippage, but it is not recommended to make medium market orders above 1,000 DFI. There are restricted locations including the United States and Seychelles, but it is advised to check on Bit.com to see if a user is eligible for trading on the exchange.

Cake DeFi (versatile platform)
Offers crypto trading
Cake does not qualify as an exchange, but through the company it is possible to exchange various cryptos (BTC, ETH, LTC, DOGE, BCH) to DFI using DeFiChain's decentralized exchange (DEX). It is required to complete KYC to use Cake.

Offers crypto and stablecoin trading
PancakeSwap charges fees of 0.25% (0.17% to liquidity providers, 0.0225% to their treasury, 0.0575% for PancakeSwap's CAKE burn and buyback program)

There are no restrictions on trade, as PancakeSwap is a DEX.
