Hello and welcome to the Media Center! I am so excited to be leading the library media program at Dames Ferry Elementary School! 

The 2025-2026 school year is my 4th year at Dames Ferry and my 7th year working as a Media Specialist. From a young age, was naturally drawn to books, loved to read, and found a second home in the library. It's no wonder I ended up with a career in library media! 

Other than books, some of my favorite things are traveling to new places (the photo is me in NYC this past spring), super sour candy, true crime podcasts, Braves baseball, and anything 'Alice in Wonderland' related.

My husband, Jack, and I make our home in downtown Macon.

I have been a part of the DFE family for 9 years. Going into my second year in the Media Center, reading has always been my happy place, so it has been a great fit. 

I'm originally from New York, but me, my husband Gary, two daughters Isabelle and Ava, and doggie Lulu call Gray home. DFE students know me mostly for my obsession with minions, teaching them Spanish, and the foreign world of cursive.

I love time with my family, baking, musicals, animals, the Yankees, and all things from the 80's (especially candy and the Golden Girls). I look forward to a great school year and hope students will enjoy what the Media Center has to offer.
