I fully support Free Trade and am anti-tariff. Free Trade is essential to keeping prices low and the economy growing for everyday American taxpayers. I fully support both NAFTA and the TPP, and support entering into more trade agreements.
You earn your money, not the government, but that's a fundamental truth that most politicians seem to have trouble with these days. That's why, if elected, I would work to cut taxes and reform our tax system so that it doesn't punish success. That's why I've-
I have always and I continue to believe that life begins at conception. Roe v. Wade was an example of judicial activism, and I intend to introduce a constitutional amendment to clarify and return abortion to the states, where it belongs. That's also why as a State Assemblyman I've voted "Aye" on the Human Life Amendment and voted "Aye" on the Restriction of Human Cloning Act.
I am a proud Dixie gun owner, and I hold it paramount to defend our Second Amendment rights. That's why I've introduced legislation to allow Dixie gun owners to carry their guns publicly, and to forbid the State of Dixie from banning or blocking the purchase of any type of gun, or gun part for any law abiding citizen who hasn't committed a felony, a major step forward for Dixie gun owners and gun rights. I'd do the same thing in the Senate, and I'll continue to defend gun rights wherever I am.
The Federal Government and the left have attacked States Rights since day one, and that has to stop. Items such as the minimum wage, federal drug laws, federal gun regulations, federal healthcare, and the vast majority of federal regulations are all major examples of government overreach, which now permeates into our day to day life. If elected, I would work to stop and repeal any such overreach. I also would work to restore the cloture requirement to two thirds, so that states can more easily provide a check on the federal government with their elected representatives.
