Welcome!
First and foremost, we’re a very active pack and we strive to offer a range of engaging experiences for the scouts. Our pack welcomes all boys and girls K-5 grade to join. Throughout the year the scouts will be involved in hiking, camping, making friends, helping the community, pinewood derby, and tons more.
Meetings
We meet on average four times a month. We meet the first two Wednesday’s of the month in grade level groups, called Den Meetings, and then we meet as a whole pack for a larger event, which usually falls during the third week of the month. The date for the pack event shifts depending on what we have planned. For the pack events, the entire family is welcome to join! Lastly, we meet one Saturday or Sunday a month at a nearby park for a hike.
Events & Communication
The Cub Scout calendar roughly follows the school calendar. We do our best to plan the entire scouting year in advance and maintain an up-to-date calendar that accurately reflects all times and locations for our scouting events. To help you get a sense for what an average year looks like, here is a link to the 2025-2026 calendar. In addition to the calendar, we send a monthly newsletter with all important dates and information for the coming month. Both of these documents are linked on the homepage.
Volunteers
Cub Scouts is a volunteer run organization and we are always in need of adults to help support the pack. We’re looking for people who are interested in helping in any capacity, including Den Leaders, Assistant Den Leaders, running activities, leading volunteer drives, and more. Please reach out to Doug Brunner-Cubmaster with questions.
Cost
One year of scouting costs roughly $350. That said, the entire cost of scouting can be covered by participating in our annual Fall popcorn fundraiser. We strongly believe that cost shouldn’t limit a person’s ability to participate in Scouts. If the cost is too much of a burden, please let us know, and we can figure something out.
