If you want a rugged, tool-grade handheld unit for quick shop jobs and tight vehicle interiors where you already own the battery platform, choose DEWALT 20V; if you need a versatile, whole-home stick vacuum with auto-sensing power and pet hair solutions for family road trips, choose Fieety Cordless Vacuum Cleaner.
• DEWALT 20V: Its biggest strength is its compatibility with existing 20V MAX batteries and high-efficiency HEPA filtration for fine dust like concrete or drywall; the trade-off is that it requires a separate battery purchase and lacks an included wall charger. This pick is for contractors, DIYers, and car enthusiasts who already have a DEWALT ecosystem.
• Fieety Cordless Vacuum Cleaner: Its biggest strength is its all-in-one design with an 8-battery system offering up to 70 minutes of runtime and intelligent auto-mode for different floor types; the trade-off is its larger footprint and weight compared to a compact handheld tool. This pick is for families, pet owners, and anyone needing a complete cleaning solution from living rooms to car trunks.
The DEWALT 20V Handheld Vacuum is built with a specific mindset: efficiency in a small package for users who likely already carry heavy-duty tools. It is designed as a "dry only" small shop vac, which means it excels at sucking up sawdust, drywall dust, and general debris without getting clogged on wet messes. The inclusion of a HEPA filter is a major technical advantage here, specifically targeting fine particles that standard vacuums often blow back into the air. If you are working on a project involving concrete or drywall, this filtration system ensures that the air remains cleaner while you work.
For those planning a family road trip, this unit shines when used as a dedicated car vacuum. You can attach the six included accessories to clean under seats, reach into cup holders, and vacuum out crumbs from the trunk. The push-button release mechanism makes emptying the canister a one-handed operation, which is crucial when you are trying to clean up after a messy snack break without stopping the engine. However, you must remember that the battery is not included in the box. This means the upfront cost is lower, but the operational cost depends entirely on whether you already own compatible DEWALT batteries.
This product is ideal for the person who values speed and portability over long-duration cleaning sessions. The ability to get up to 214 minutes of runtime per charge using the DCB205 battery (sold separately) suggests it can handle multiple projects or several cars before needing a recharge, provided you have the right power source. If you are looking for a tool that feels like an extension of your other power equipment and you don't mind buying the battery separately, this is a serious contender. Conversely, if you are expecting a plug-and-play home vacuum that comes ready to run right out of the box, this might feel incomplete until you source the necessary power pack.

The Fieety Cordless Vacuum Cleaner takes a completely different approach by focusing on versatility and smart automation for the entire household. It is not just a handheld tool; it is a stick vacuum that converts into a handheld unit with a 3.3-foot hose, making it capable of reaching high ceilings, under sofas, and deep into car interiors. The standout feature for many buyers is the suction power generated by its 650W brushless motor, which delivers 55,000Pa of suction. This level of power is engineered to lift deep-set dirt from carpets and stubborn pet hair from upholstery, addressing issues that weaker motors simply cannot move.
For a family preparing for road trips, the convenience of the Fieety system cannot be overstated. The vacuum features a self-standing design, meaning you can pause mid-cleanup to load the car without worrying about the unit tipping over. The adjustable telescopic tube allows users of varying heights to clean comfortably, reducing strain during long cleaning sessions. Furthermore, the intelligent auto mode is a game-changer for mixed-floor homes; sensors automatically adjust the suction power based on the resistance of the floor type, optimizing battery usage and cleaning efficiency without requiring manual switching. The green LED indicator also helps spot dust in corners, ensuring nothing gets missed before you head out the door.
A unique selling point for pet owners is the grooming brush that captures loose fur at the source while simultaneously vacuuming. This dual-action capability reduces shedding around the house and keeps pets calm during cleaning. The filtration system is equally robust, trapping 99.99% of dust particles and even featuring a fragrance diffuser to help remove pet odors and leave the room smelling fresh. While the unit is heavier than a simple handheld, the wall-mounted charging station and the ability to swap batteries mean you never have to wait long for a recharge. This is the choice for those who want a single machine to handle everything from the living room carpet to the car seat crevices.

• Best for quiet operation → Fieety Cordless Vacuum Cleaner: Operating at 62 dB, it is significantly quieter than many high-power shop vacs, preserving peace in the household.
After analyzing the specifications and intended use cases, I would buy the Fieety Cordless Vacuum Cleaner for my family road trips and daily home maintenance. While the DEWALT is a fantastic tool for the garage, the Fieety offers a level of automation, runtime, and specialized pet features that make it indispensable for a busy household. The ability to switch between stick and handheld modes seamlessly, combined with the auto-sensing technology, removes the friction from cleaning tasks. For a family that needs to keep a car clean and a home spotless without constant interruptions, the Fieety's comprehensive design and 70-minute runtime provide a more practical solution than a standalone handheld unit.
The DEWALT is a dry-only shop vac designed primarily for loose debris and fine dust like concrete or drywall; it does not have the specialized brush rolls or auto-suction adjustment found in the Fieety, making it less optimized for deep carpet cleaning.
Yes, the Fieety model features a built-in fragrance diffuser designed to spread a pleasant scent and help remove pet odors, in addition to its 99.99% efficient filtration system.
No, the DEWALT 20V is explicitly listed as a "Dry Only" vacuum and should not be used for wet liquids, whereas the Fieety is designed for general household debris and pet hair but also does not advertise wet pickup capabilities.
