Hello Everyone,

Just a reminder this blog and the next one will be journal entries from the summer trip I went on with my youth group. We went to South Dakota for some bonding activities and Kansas City for Bold Conference. This blog covers day seven. Here is the link for Day One.

Day seven: Today was the second day of bold conference. Tommarow is the last day. During the break out session I listened to Jacob Coyne speak. He started an organization known as Stay Here. Their goal is to make Gen. Z. sucicide free. Another goal of his is to train one million people to spot and help those around them struggling with depression and suicidal thoughts. The training is very simple. It takes only forty-five minutes or so and it's all on line. Here is the link.

Another speaker suggested reading the bible. As you may remember from my new years blog, I am currently reading through the bible and my goal is to finish it before the end of the year. I use the YouVersion Bible App's Andrew Wommack Plan. I am currently on day 246; I'm a few days ahead.

I highly suggest everyone to read the bible. Make a plan that work for you and you know you can accomplish. If you are unsure, at least read through the Psalms and young men should read through Proverbs. Proverbs was written from Solomon, who was given wisdom from God, to his son. Another speaker today said you are what you behold. I want to behold Jesus and become/act like him; I will do so by reading the bible.
