Summary. Step Counter Launcher does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data. The app has no user accounts, no advertising, no analytics, and no internet functionality of any kind. Everything it records stays on your device, and you can erase all of it at any time from within the app or by uninstalling it.
1. Who we are
Step Counter Launcher (the “App”) is published by DevNexa LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”), which is the data controller for the purposes of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, to the limited extent that regulation applies to this App.

2. The short version
We collect no personal data.
The App has no internet permission for its own features and makes no network requests. It is fully functional in airplane mode.
There are no accounts, no sign-in, and no user identifiers.
There is no advertising, no analytics, no crash-reporting service, and no third-party SDK that receives data.
Your activity data is written only to your own device and is never uploaded.
Uninstalling the App, or using “Reset all data” inside it, permanently deletes everything.
3. Information the App handles
The App processes the following information entirely on your device. None of it is transmitted to us or to anyone else, and we have no ability to access it.

Body weight is optional. If you do not provide it, the App uses a fixed default value of 70 kg purely to estimate calories. The estimate is presented as an estimate and is not a medical measurement.
3.1 What the App does not do
The App does not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, files, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or IP address. It does not track you across apps or websites. It does not build a profile of you. It contains no code that transmits data anywhere.
4. Device permissions
The App requests only the permissions it needs to measure a walk. You may decline any of them; the App remains usable, with the affected measurement disabled.

Location is used in the foreground only. The App does not request background location access, does not declare a background location capability, and does not track your position when it is not open. No location coordinates are stored or transmitted.
You can withdraw any permission at any time in your device settings. Doing so disables the related measurement and nothing else.
5. Storage, retention and deletion
All data is kept in the App's private storage area on your device, which other apps cannot read. It is not backed up to any service by us.
Retention: daily activity records are kept for up to 12 months and then automatically deleted by the App.
Deletion by you: open Settings → Reset all data to erase your stars, history and settings immediately and permanently.
Deletion by uninstalling: removing the App deletes all of its data from your device.
Because we never receive your data, we hold no copy of it and there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
6. Sharing, selling and disclosure
We do not share, sell, rent, trade or disclose any personal information, because we do not collect any. There are no advertising networks, data brokers, analytics providers or other third-party recipients involved in this App.
7. Third-party services
The App integrates no third-party service that receives data. It uses open-source software libraries that run locally on your device and send nothing anywhere. The App store from which you downloaded the App (Google Play or the Apple App Store) has its own privacy practices, which are governed by their respective policies and are outside our control.
8. Children's privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Since no data is collected or transmitted, no personal information of a child can be obtained by us through the App. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us at admin@devnexalabs.com.
9. Your privacy rights
9.1 European Economic Area and United Kingdom (GDPR / UK GDPR)
Because all processing happens locally on your device and no personal data reaches us, we do not hold personal data about you to access, correct, export or erase. Where the on-device processing of activity and location data is considered to require a legal basis, it is your consent, which you give by granting the relevant device permission and may withdraw at any time in your device settings.
You retain the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. You can exercise erasure and portability directly and immediately using the App's “Reset all data” function and your device's own controls. To raise any other request or concern, contact us at admin@devnexalabs.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9.2 California (CCPA / CPRA)
We do not collect personal information as defined by the CCPA, and we have not sold or shared personal information in the preceding twelve months. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a right to limit. California residents may still contact us at admin@devnexalabs.com with any privacy request; we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
9.3 Other jurisdictions
Residents of other regions with comparable privacy laws may contact us at the address above to exercise any applicable rights.
10. International data transfers
None. Your data never leaves your device, so there is no transfer of personal data to any country or international organisation.
11. Security
Your data remains within the App's private storage on your device and is protected by your operating system's application sandbox and by any device passcode or biometric lock you have enabled. Because nothing is transmitted, there is no data in transit to intercept and no server holding your data that could be breached. Please keep your device software up to date and protected by a screen lock.
12. Automated decision-making
The App does not carry out profiling or automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects. Daily goals and the star challenge are simple arithmetic performed on your device and shown only to you.

14. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the “Last updated” date above and publish the revised version in the same place you found this one. If a change is significant — for example if the App ever began to collect data — we will make that clear before the change takes effect and, where the law requires it, obtain your consent.
