Academic Guidance Counselor
I’m excited to expand my role this year as part of the academic guidance team! I bring a deep love of learning, a research-driven mindset, and a heart for (literally) walking alongside students as they navigate high school and discover their God-given path.
I graduated from the University of West Florida with a B.A. in History and a minor in Secondary Education. After eight years of teaching, I began focusing more on academic counseling. I'm passionate about mentoring students, supporting college and career exploration, and offering feedback on student writing.
My goal is to help students build lifelong skills like time management, study strategies, and independent learning. I approach counseling with a mix of research, intuition, and relationship—always aiming to support the whole person.
Outside of school, I’m an aspiring naturalist and lifelong learner, happiest exploring trails, wading streams, birding, reading too many books at one time, and asking big questions.
