For the time period of 2012-2019, the National Football League (NFL) Injury Data shows that an average of 242 NFL players per year sustained concussions. A study conducted in 2017 by Boston University found that 99% of former NFL players had Chronic traumatic encephalopathy due to the repetition of concussions.
With this project, I want to create a product that will help minimize concussions that occur on the football field. The main goal for this product is to make it durable and comfortable for any football player participating in the game.
