Welcome to Devi! This Privacy Policy explains how Vectorion Apps ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects your information when you use the Devi mobile application and related services (collectively, the "App").

By using Devi, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the absolute minimum information necessary to provide, maintain, and improve our services, and to ensure a safe environment for our users.

A. Information You Provide to Us

• Account Information (Google Login): When you create an account using Google Login, we collect your email address, name, and profile picture provided by Google.

• Profile Data: You may choose to customize your Devi username and profile picture within the App.

• Guest Login (Anonymous): If you choose to use Devi as a Guest, no backend account or persistent identifier is generated by Firebase. We do not collect, store, or track any profile data, block lists, or personal information for Guest sessions.

• User-Generated Content (Moderation): If you use the "Report Message" feature, you voluntarily decrypt and forward a specific message, doodle, or piece of content to our moderation team. We store this specific reported content to take action against abuse.

B. Information Collected Automatically

• Technical Data (WebRTC): When you connect to a Devi room, our signaling servers temporarily process your IP address and network information necessary to establish the WebRTC peer-to-peer connection. This data is not permanently stored.

• App Activity: For logged-in users, we store your block lists (users you have blocked) to ensure your preferences persist across sessions.

• No Tracking or Push Notifications: We do not use third-party analytics (like Google Analytics), crash reporting tools (like Crashlytics), or Push Notification services (like FCM). We do not track your background behavior.

2. Device Permissions

Devi is designed to respect your device's boundaries. The App does not request, access, or collect data from sensitive device hardware components, including:

• Camera

• Microphone

• Local Device Storage / Photos

• Contacts or Location

3. Third-Party Services (YouTube API)

Devi utilizes the official YouTube IFrame Player API Services to allow users to search, synchronize, and watch videos.

• By using Devi to watch YouTube content, you are agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

• Furthermore, your use of the YouTube API Services through Devi is subject to the Google Privacy Policy.

• We do not collect, store, or share your YouTube viewing history, search queries, or YouTube account data on our servers.

4. End-to-End Encryption and Peer-to-Peer Data

Devi utilizes WebRTC technology to establish direct peer-to-peer (P2P) connections between users in private rooms.

• Encrypted Communications: Text messages and doodles transmitted through the WebRTC data channel are End-to-End Encrypted (E2EE) and/or transmitted directly between peers.

• Server Blindness: Our servers cannot read, intercept, or store your private communications or doodles under normal operation. The only exception is if a user explicitly utilizes the in-app "Report" feature to voluntarily forward a decrypted message to our moderation team.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information strictly for the following purposes:

• App Functionality: To manage your account and enable you to join or host private rooms.

• Safety and Moderation: To enforce our Terms of Service. If a user is reported for violating our rules, we use the voluntarily forwarded content, along with the reported user's ID, to investigate and take action (including permanent bans).

• Account Management: To maintain your block list so you do not have to interact with blocked users.

6. Data Storage and Retention

Your account data (username, email, profile picture, and block lists) is stored securely on Google Firebase servers.

• Standard Retention: We retain your account data for as long as your account is active.

• Moderation Retention: To ensure the safety of our platform and prevent repeat offenders, data related to banned users and the specific messages/content submitted via the "Report" feature are retained indefinitely.

7. Sharing of Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your information only in the following situations:

• Service Providers: We use Google Firebase to host our database and manage authentication.

• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

8. Your Rights and Account Deletion

You have the right to control your personal data.

How to Delete Your Account:

You can completely delete your account and all associated data at any time directly within the Devi app.

1. Navigate to the Profile section.

2. Select Delete Account.

3. Confirm your choice.

Note: Deleting your account will instantly remove your profile data and email from our active servers. However, if your account was previously banned or reported for violating our Terms of Service, records of those violations and reports are retained indefinitely for safety purposes.

9. Children's Privacy

Devi is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
