Welcome Address

Manikantan leads the Developer Ecosystem team at Google in APAC where he manages multiple developer & startup programs to help developers build great apps and services on Google Developer products and platforms.

He started building mobile apps & games in 2006 (the pre-iPhone era) and has over the years built several apps and games for Android, iOS, Windows Phone, Nokia platforms. He joined Google in February 2016, after stints at Samsung and Nokia in developer relations.

From Prototype to Production: Streamlining MLOps with Vertex AI

This talk covers the end-to-end MLOps workflow, including feature engineering, experimentation, continuous training, CI/CD, testing, model registration, deployment, and monitoring. We will explore how organizations can establish core technical capabilities, either through an integrated ML platform or a combination of specialized tools. Focusing on Vertex AI, we’ll walk through a real project to demonstrate how the platform streamlines these processes, simplifying the entire ML lifecycle. Divya develops and supports the development and execution of a comprehensive analytics platform roadmap and strategy with the core team, architecting the solution on major cloud platforms. She is a Co-founder and Head of curriculum at BigDataX, a community and technical workshop speaker, and a hands-on facilitator covering areas including Big Data and Cloud computing since 2018.
