The D'Evelyn Accountability Committee would like to officially welcome everyone back for the 24-25 school year! We are excited to start our monthly meetings and connect with parents, students, teachers, administrators, and other community supporters that are interested in becoming more involved at D’Evelyn.
The Accountability Committee serves in an advisory role to the principal and the Steering Committee and is tasked with facilitating community engagement and supporting the school’s continuous improvement efforts. We will review the previous year's goals from the School Improvement Plan and continue to work on the new SIP throughout the year. At meetings you will hear updates about the school from the Principal and other D'Evelyn committees.

Second part of meeting is in person only and will include working teams, group discussion topics and School Improvement Plan work.

Parents, Students, and Teachers are strongly encouraged to participate!
As noted in the Founding Document and our operating procedures, membership shall include:
a. School principal
b. Parents/guardians
c. At least one teacher
d. Student leadership
Membership is open to all interested parties with the objective, when possible, of having a cross section of grade levels and racial/ethnic representation. Total membership shall not exceed 30; if there are more than 30 individuals who desire to be members, an election by secret ballot shall be held by September 30. Members as of September 30 and in good standing according to these Rules of Operation are deemed “voting members” and shall have one vote each on matters that come before the Accountability Committee. You are also welcome to attend meetings as a guest.
