Coaches

Coach Keith was appointed to be a judge on the Jefferson County Court in the 1st Judicial District. Coach Keith has assisted D'Evelyn MockTrial for two seasons now. Keith's former trial practice focused on representing transportation companies, public servants, and other professionals. Coach Keith’s public entity practice focuses on representing cities, counties, and school districts against federal and state law claims, including actions concerning the Governmental Immunity Act and the Open Records Act. Prior to joining a local law firm, Coach Keith served as a deputy district attorney in Jefferson County, Colorado. During his time as a prosecutor he instructed law enforcement officers, police academy cadets, and district attorneys about constitutional rights, effective courtroom presentation, and the nuts and bolts of civil litigation. 

Jenn G.

Coach Jenn is a partner at Path Forward Legal, a criminal defense firm in Denver.  She has enjoyed practicing law and believes in a team approach at her firm to help her clients navigate their way through the legal system.  Coach Jenn earned both her J.D. and B.S.B.A. from the University of Denver.  She is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, Jefferson County Bar Association, Colorado Criminal Defense Bar, and the Office of the Alternate Defense Counsel.  This is Coach Jenn’s first year with D’Evelyn Mock Trial but she coached previously at Dakota Ridge. 

Sarah S.

Coach Sarah is a finance executive, working for Alder Companies, a family office in Denver. She earned her Accounting degree from the University of Nebraska. She competed in mock trial while in high school, where her team won the Nebraska state championship and advanced to the national competition. She is a huge advocate for the mock trial, experiencing the benefits first hand while she participated in the program. She coached D'Evelyn's inaugural team, then coached with Dakota Ridge for 10 years. Coach Sarah is excited to be part of the D'Evelyn mock trial team again. 

Erica D.

Coach Erica is a licensed private investigator; she co-owns an investigation company in Denver specializing in background checks, civil litigation and criminal defense. Prior to starting her business, she worked for 17 years in law enforcement. This is Coach Erica’s first year with D’Evelyn Mock Trial.
