Brief Introduction:-

Hi, I am Devang Majithiya, from Jamnagar (Gujarat) which is also known as city of "JAM". I did my B.E. in Civil Engg. from Lukhdhirji Engineering College , Morbi , in 2001. I am working as Assistant Professor in Civil engineering at Government Engineering College , Bhuj, Gujarat . After completing B.E. I have completed my M.E. from M S University, Vadodara in Highway and Transportation Engineering . Presently i am pursuing my Ph.D. under Gujarat Technological University , Chandkheda .

After completion of my BE Civil , I worked as an Assistant Engineer in Jamnagar Municipal Corporation, from 2001 to 2008. During this tenure i got chance to work in different departments like underground drainage, Town planning, Urban roads etc. After that I was selected as Deputy Engineer in GWSSB by Direct selection. In Gwssb I was responsible for regular supply of Potable water to about 90 villages of Dhrol and Jodiya talukas of Jamnagar district. I was deputy engineer in GWSSB from 2008 to 2010. During my tenure i was also in charge Executive Engineer of GWSSB Jamnagar Division 1. In 2001 , because of clearance of GPSC exam of Technical education Department, I shifted my Practical field to academics and firstly posted in the same college from where i completed my BE. So i was Assistant Professor at L. E. College, Morbi from 2010 to 2013. I taught different course to under graduate students. Than I transferred to Government Engineering college, Bhuj. Here also i taught different subjects to UG students. As department permit me for further study, I started my ME in Highway &Transportation from The M.S. University, Vadodara. After completion of My ME I re-started my journey as an Assistant Professor in Civil engineering Department of Government Engineering College, Bhuj and it is continue till date...
