Seminar Science and Literature 6-7 March 2026
The National Seminar on Science and Literature, jointly conducted by our department and the Chemistry Department, was a unique and intellectually enriching experience. The seminar aimed to explore the interdisciplinary connection between scientific knowledge and literary expression. Various speakers discussed how both fields, though different in method, contribute to understanding human life and the world. Topics such as environmental concerns, scientific imagination in literature, and the role of creativity in both disciplines were thoughtfully examined. The collaboration between the two departments made the seminar more diverse, engaging, and academically valuable.
I also got the opportunity to present a paper in this seminar, which was a significant and memorable experience for me. Presenting my ideas in front of scholars and students helped me build confidence and improve my academic communication skills. The feedback and questions I received were constructive and encouraged me to think more critically about my topic. It was a proud moment to actively participate rather than just attend the seminar. Overall, the experience enhanced my understanding, boosted my confidence, and motivated me to engage more in academic research and presentations in the future.
