About Me
My name is Devadevan Devanesan. People call me Devan. I am from Kajang. I have just completed my degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Nottingham Malaysia. I'm looking to kickstart my career in the engineering field, specifically product design as I am very passionate in designing and building and this would also help me to be constantly innovative which is a crucial trait in this fast paced technological world.
I am currently 22 years old, eager to learn new things and take pride with the things I do. I work well with a team with similar interests to meet clients' requirements and work well under pressure. Some other things I'm interested in are music, brewing and fitness.

This company is a social enterprise that carries out projects that focuses on reducing waste, raising awareness to reduce negative impacts to the environment. My roles as a production intern were:-
Fabricate designed products which are at least 50% waste materials. (e.g bottles, tyres, etc). Woodworking and metalworking skills were applied.
Conducted 3 workshops teaching about upcycling and sustainable living upon request of event organisers.

This organisation was a community of passionate parkour practitioners wanting to grow the local community with a goal to make the sport mainstream. A team of four of us were in charge of designing and buidling parkour obstacles for events. We were responsible for:
Designing and building parkour obstacle layouts for 4 major events.
Other responsibilities were maintaining and repairing said obstacles during events as well as supervising volunteers.

Don Bosco Tuition Centre is run by Holy Family Church Kajang that provides free tuition classes to needy students that require additional guidance in their learning.
I was given the opportunity to teach science and maths to students of various levels between standard 1 to form 5. The classes were held twice a week. Number of students in each class varied from 5 to 15 students
